No cancellation and no refunds kills this deal for me, want to book things a little bit further out but risk outweighs the price without having leave booked, etc. That being said, it's a great deal.

We stopped visiting all Discovery Parks after they refused to issue us a credit for a booking which was impacted by the covid state border closures.

We didn’t want a refund, just to use the booking later, but the company chose not to be flexible and I later found out they did the same to others.

I don’t recommend supporting a company which chooses not to support its customers.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I think I'll stay away. That's pretty poor and not the right thing to do for their customers. Acknowledging they probably didn't have to refund you or be flexible, but it would have been the right thing to do.

I had a non-refundable booking coming up in Vanuatu right after their earthquake. I was really fortunate that Booking.com changed their policy and made it refundable if you choose not to go as a result of the earthquake. I will go back, but at a more appropriate time - happy to support their tourism industry but only when it's the right time to do so.

I hate them for buying out Wikicamps and butchering it, it was such a great resource before they got their hands on it…

I haven't used wikicamps in over a year, so just fired it up now to see what you might be on about - and it wants me to sign in? WT? Thanks for the heads up.

All they needed to do was add a faster loading function. Maybe show the data it knows with a little loading icon.

Instead we get heavily reorganised with only 1 or 2 minor improvements.

        • It's not only the performance issues and offline content, they've kinda sanitized it, they've removed the majority of the free unofficial camp sites around the country, especially any that are anywhere near their caravan parks… They've thrown ads into it now also…
