  • Signature Milk Tea: Inspired by the iconic taste of classic milk tea, this flavour combines a velvety, creamy base with subtle tea notes from Amino Z's signature blend of premium Assam and black teas.
  • Earl Grey Milk Tea: Developed with a blend of meticulously selected bergamot and a signature combination of rich black teas, this flavour brings creamy, milky notes for a smooth, satisfyingly elegant taste that’s true to the classic Earl Grey.
  • Caramelised Dutch Cookie: Inspired by classic Speculaas cookies, this flavour combines warm, spiced caramel with a creamy, sweet base. It delivers a rich, indulgent taste of caramelised cookies with subtle hints of cinnamon, gingerbread and other spices.

All flavours are naturally sweetened. We have transitioned over to thaumatin for the fact that it is an all natural plant based sweetener, a superior flavour profile, a neutral insulin impact (as it is a protein) and being very gentle on the gut. A bit of trivia, thaumatin is about 10x the cost of artificial counterparts (eg. sucralose) and more than 5x the cost of stevia based on weight! Our focus remains on product quality.

Five of the thirty flavours will attract a higher price point due to additional cost to manufacture and also higher ingredient costs associated with these flavours. They include the three cookie flavours (+$2.48 per 1kg bag for Caramelised Dutch Cookie, Cookies & Cream, Mint Cookie Crunch) and the two new tea flavours (+$4.14 per 1kg bag for Signature Milk Tea, Earl Grey Milk Tea). All other flavours are at the standard price.

For the sweetness above, this is just a general indication of how sweet this flavour is relative to other flavours. 1 star is less sweet, 3 stars is more sweet. Unflavoured has no sweetener added so is 0 stars.

To help guide, here are the category descriptions from the table above:

Category Description
STRAIGHT Unflavoured and optimised for macronutrients (90% protein). Due to omitting flavours and any sweetener, this is just straight WPI from the manufacturer (less than 1% sunflower lecithin added at the point of manufacture). Use in cookies, smoothies etc. Or if you just want the best macros and don't care for taste!
CORE These flavours have between 75-87% protein. They will also be low in fat (0.3-0.8g/serve) and also low in carbs (1-3.7g/serve). As a general guide, suitable if you have strict dietary restrictions and want to keep the carbs/fat down, but want something more exciting than unflavoured.
INDULGE These flavours will have 64-76% protein with a higher serving size. Notably, carbs and/or fat will be higher than most flavours in the core range, generally contributing an additional 20-30 calories per serve. These flavours will also contain extra ingredients that enhance the flavour profile. This extra latitude with macros and ingredients allows us to elevate the flavour to be what we consider amazing, while not being a complete cheat meal. Given the popularity of Aussie Choc Malt, we're experimenting with a few others in this category and have recently released our three new cookie flavours and our two new milk tea flavours.

  • 100% Australian Blended and Packed in our Sydney Facility
  • Our manufacturing facility is owned by us and is a NSW Licensed Food Facility with an approved Dairy Processing license
  • We only use WPI in this protein - this is not a blend of other cheaper proteins (for example Whey Protein Concentrate/WPC)

Why so short this time?

Last deal I mentioned that the industry was experiencing a major supply constraint. We have been lucky enough to secure some additional stock to accommodate for a Boxing Day promotion, but it is extremely limited.

In almost all of our prior WPI deals, I have been asked how our WPI compares to two other very popular products on OzBargain that we sell (Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey and Musashi 100% Whey).

  • How do I use my Z Points/Credit? To apply existing store credit (Z Points), firstly make sure that you are logged in.         For transparency, we'll never be the cheapest Vegan protein out there.

        We made the decision to invest more into a raw material that we feel has an exceptional taste and texture profile (ie. not the more common gritty/earthy taste and texture). Obviously that's our biased opinion :) The thaumatin component is also quite an expensive ingredient.

    Ive pretty much exclusively switched to aminoZ for whey. Popping in here to add some opinions on the flavours.

    Milk tea - my new favorite by far. Hooked.
    Aussie choc - Love it. Ordered another. Its just a delicious malty treat
    Cookies and cream - solid. quite sweet and you get little pieces of cookie that you munch through. Personally love it. Texture is buttery.
    Caramel Dutch Cookie - a winner. Fantastic with yogurt. Also get little pieces of cookie in here, depends on if you like it or not.
    Taro - sweet, but really unique flavour. I will likely pick one up again.
    Brazilian Chocolate - its like chocolate condensed milk. I liked it, but it wasnt the best.
    Choc Cherry - tasted exactly what it sounds like. Wasnt my favourite but the flavour was on point.

    Hi Jay, Has any of the ingredients of vanilla creamy changed? I am currently using the vanilla creamy order back from the black friday deal (November) and I have noticed it is quite different from previous vanilla creamy orders I have made from the past.

    I've noticed difference in the solvability in powder in milk, scooping texture is also different, taste, froth build after mixing in a protein shake. These are quite miniscule problems but I have been using this same flavour the last year or two so it would be great to know if anything has changed in the ingredients for the vanilla creamy flavour.     Well it's a good thing my order was sent out quickly so good job there but CouriersPlease are taking a long time. Original estimate was arrival on the 2nd of Jan but I'm still waiting with nothing reflected on tracking since pickup on the 30th of December. Had to buy some other powder in the mean time.
