  • I never understood the difference, Ultimate, pure nappy، ultra dry .. which one to buy,

    • I believe that these are the old ultimates.

Edit: Yep, if you click an old deal for ultimates, it goes to these pure cares now.

      • So pure care are more expensive and new ones? Ultra dry for 144 nappies are or $51 that comes down to 35 cents each

        • +1

Yes but this deal is for nappy pants, not nappies which you are comparing it to. Nappy pants are more expensive than regular nappies. I'll remove the nappies tag to avoid confusion.

        • +1

Pure Care is way more absorbent than ultra dry. Like gakko, we use Pure Care for overnight only. Ultra dry would not last the entire night.

Rascals from Coles is another good alternate.

    • +2

These are our top tier nappies for overnight only. Tried various others. These are best. They hold up best for that long duration. Were on sale at Woolies too as at yesterday.

  • Any good deals for new born nappies?

    • ALDI is permanent good deal for nappies if you have one nearby.

      • +1

The Coles cheap ones punch above their weight too.

  • Not worth the price premium to normal Huggies nappy pants

    • +2

Shouldn't be any premium at this price, in fact it should be cheaper than ultra drys? Comparing to Coles special at a quick glance:

Eg Coles $0.50ea for ultra drys with 1/2 price special vs $0.41ea this deal for PureCare. The bigger packs at Coles are $0.55ea everyday price.

      • When 1/2 price on Amazon + S&S the Ultra Dry nappy pants are under $0.40/piece

        • yep agreed - not a bad deal but can hodl if u dont need them urgently

    • I reckon they are. These are the only ones that hold enough overnight to not spill over and wet the bed.

      • Never had an issue with my two kids overnight in normal Huggies nappy pants

  • Only 1 per customer i see!

  • no love for size 3…

  • +1

    We buy nappies from Aldi.
    1. Cheaper
    2. Made in Australia

These Huggies are made in China.

    • I dON’t WanT mY cHIld to BeCOme a CoMmunIST!

      • +2

vs the far more reasonable. I want to support local manufacturing jobs in my own country.

    • Is this still true? I thought only their nappies are made locally, while nappy pants are made overseas. Happy to be told I am wrong.

      • Nappies by Huggies are made in China.

        • Apologies I know Huggies aren't locally made, I was referring to you buying Aldi and noting Aldi is made locally.

          • @Travelling panda: Oh, the Aldi nappies are made in Australia. Reading from the label now.

According to 2 OzBargain comments, a product review and a yahoo article from 2023. Aldi nappies are no longer made in Australia.

Parents are also up in arms about the product no longer being manufactured in Australia

Edit: Talking about aldi nappies, not aldi nappy pants that were always made in Belgium

      • Thanks for sharing this link

      • I wouldn't trust random comments.

        They are made in Australia.

        • How long ago did you buy them? A while ago, or maybe you got old stock? Your picture appears to be the old version/design on the left. You can tell also by the 'wider waistband for a better fit' wording, whereas the new version, apart from no Australia flag, says 'soft & stretchy waistband' instead. I found this picture on product review from 6 months ago with the new wording and no Australia logo on it. Unless there has been some recent change?

Not just random comments, they were more just supporting the Yahoo article which also included pictures, comments from aldi mums and a comment from ALDI themselves confirming the product had changed.

Just to clarify also, we are talking about nappies, not nappy pants (which this deal is for). The ALDI nappy pants were always made in Belgium (not sure if that is still the case or they moved to China).

          • +1

@hamza23: I bought just last week, and I have bought from different Aldi locations recently so can't be a one off thing or old stock.

            • +1

@web50: I see! I'll check my local ALDI next time then out of interest, I wonder if they have since switched back.

  • +2

The problem with these is that they the quality is too good. The little one you are training simply wont want to move out of them and their convenience!

    • This is true lol

  • Won't ship to my area

    Boooo

  • After using nappy pants it's so damn hard to get the toddlers to wear normal nappies!
