  • can you buy the blades for this separately ?

    • You're thinking of the other one. The one that has replaceable blades.

It's like rimming, but on the edge

The branding on these is endlessly frustrating, not only does a '7000 Series' come in different packages with 15-in-one, 16-in-one, 17-in-one, 19-in-one, 23-in-one etc. there are also multiple '7000 series' units with slightly different appearances (at least 3 different ones) - very frustrating trying to work out what is what

same with toothbrushes. i think its done intentionally so you cant actually do a value analysis

    • I believe there is a model with 5hrs battery.

  • I love these Philips trimmers, however, I did have one of mine completely die on me after owning it for just under 2 years. Though I have another unit which is older and still runs fine.

  • Nut sack and crack safe?

    • yes if you use the guard. you have to be careful when you go without the guard.

best thing to do is trim it down, then use a foil shaver to get a close shave without getting cut.

      • Do you feel safe gliding the foil shaver through the slopes of the sack? For some reason i fear with the thought of it. Have seen some cuts even with few of the previous phillips trimmers with guards i own. Have tried using 1mm and 2mm guards and still often get small cuts. Looking for a safe one that will not cut and bleed.

    • Yes, but definitely be careful around skin folds and nooks, even with the shorter guards 1mm and 2mm. If you want a close shave so they're smooth in a mouth, stick with shaving gel/cream and a razor and take it easy!
