Thanks OP. Cashback tracked in 18 minutes.

I used Safari browser only in my iPad. First time to use Apple Pay for cashback and first time using iPad for cashback. Usually I only use Chrome mobile browser in my android phone for cashback transactions. I forgot to add my St. George bank card in Apple Pay 🤦 (used Wise card in Apple Pay).

Before this transaction, I changed Settings in my iPad to ensure tracking success. From Settings - Safari:
✓ Block Pop-ups OFF (not sure about this, just in case)
✓ Extensions all OFF. There are several Adguard extensions as I use Adguard app in iPad too. So, I turned these OFF. Also Paypal Honey extension OFF (I forget, maybe from Paypal app)
    ✓ Prevent Cross-Site Tracking OFF
✓ Hide IP Address set as OFF. Previously set as "From Trackers"
    ✓ Content Blockers OFF

    Then "Advanced" at the bottom:
    Under PRIVACY:
✓ Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection OFF
    ✓ Block All Cookies OFF
✓ Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement OFF
✓ Check for Apple Pay ON
    ✓ JavaScript keep ON

My transaction was successfully tracked by Shopback (in Safari browser) in 18 minutes :) Only forget to add and use St. George bank card for Apple Pay, lol. Maybe I'll buy this (for profit) again for another scheduled pickup …

    • Appreciate the effort, but if you’re on iPad, why don’t just use the built-in browser on Shopback app?

      • Because some people mentioned about not getting tracked or missing cashback even with the app. So, it's better to change the Settings for Safari first to ensure tracking success. Built-in browser and any browsers in Apple devices are basically similar with Safari (Other people said just another skin for Safari) as all must use Webkit engine, unlike Chrome browser in android or Firefox browser with gecko engine in android.

        • Interesting. I have complete opposite experience - never fails with SB built-in browser.

Built-in browser and any browsers in Apple devices are basically similar with Safari

Correct but even though it's native Safari browser (WKWebView), the in-app browser is a complete separate instance from the actual Safari app and I believe there is no cache/cookies/session/config sharing between the two.

  • Coca-Cola Bundles (Capped at $20) : 70%

No limits for how many transactions?
Someone from previous same deal did 2 transactions.

    • Usually they state cap per user if it is capped per user so should be alright with multiple transactions.

Always a gamble though unless the rep confirms it

    • +2

Mine all tracked on Friday and I did 2

  • So if 2 pizza and 2 sides is $27.95 we get $19.cashback?

    • No that's not included. 3 pizza and 3 sides or 4 pizza and 4 sides is included

      • Oh thanks still good price

        • Yh the 3 pizza 3 sides is pretty good value after cashback. It's what I went for.

          • +1

            @Chocobros: Yes very good value.

Btw just 1 side have to be coke to be eligible for cb?

Or all sides need be coke?

            • @ATTS: Where does it mention anything needs to be a can of coke/drink? Lol

              • +1

@Splashtash: Oh lol assumed based on the op title

                "Cashback on Coca-Cola Bundles "

                • +1

@ATTS: 1 has to be a soft drink. It will force you to select a soft drink on the 3rd side

                  • @Chocobros: Oh thanks man. I thought that might be the case

          • @Chocobros: Did anyone get

Oops something went wrong error when paying? Never happened before

            • @ATTS: I sometimes get it but try again a bit later and it works fine for me

  • +1

I ordered the 3 + 3 last week, and on the 20th and it only tracked back at 20%

    • Like it got changed to 20% later on or it only ever tracked at 20%?

      • +1

Only 20% for both orders. It’s very annoying!

  • Second purchase tracked successfully with Apple Pay and St. George bank card. But, only tracked the same amount as before without the St. George bank promo 50% bonus and also got Sunday surcharge (forget, lol) but still very cheap for Single Wingstreet (large pizza, 6 wings and a can of beverage).

Apparently must add the St. George bank card etc. into Shopback to enable Apple Pay 50% bonus promo. I tapped top banner about this Apple Pay promo in Shopback app. Why no one mentioned about this? No $ profit again, but still very cheap meal package 😋

Maybe I should order again for another pickup (different day) for profit, lol.

  • I had no issues doing 2 again

    • I'll do it 2 more times tonight for tomorrow 😉

  • Sunday surcharge $5.99

  • What is a new customer ?

New email and number when ordering ?

Or never purchased Pizza Hut on your sb account ?

Answered my question, found this on Friday post

    Store Repgotyourback @ ShopBack AU on 21/10/2024 - 08:19
Sorry for the delay folks - if you have made a purchase from PH previously through ShopBack, you will be determined as an Existing Customer

what is the step to place order?
    1. use iPhone to log on my shopback account.
    2. select pizza hut, it led me to the pizza hut website
I want to order one single Wingstreet.
I clicked wingstreet and found single wingstree
I selected one pizza, 6 wings and 1 cola.
Do I still need to put the code SKU16060010?
After putting this code, the website stated this voucher already have been redeemed.
    Is it correct?
Can I check out at this point?

    • No need to put the code, just checkout

    • Make sure u click on Apple Pay if u have it (alongside its registered via shopback)

  • I am in the checkout page.
The system asked how do I want to pay, there is no choice of Apple pay, only Google pay, credit card, zip, paypal.
How can I find Apple Pay. I am using iphone and store the Westpac card in Apply Pay wallet.

  • I have link the westpac card with shopback.
My problem is when I tried to pay for my order I cannot find the option Apple pay.
    I am using iphone.

    Thanks OP

    Got 3x3 35.95

Got the 70% $20 and Apple Pay $10

    • My Apple Pay is not tracked. Did you Shopback app entirely?

      • +1

Used the app and mobile data.

        Updated the app before ordering.

        Not wifi

Tracking with sb has been very hit and miss for awhile now.
my Coles order a few weeks ago tracked but the Coca Cola bonus portion of it did not and did a Chemist Warehouse order the other day. The order tracked but the hydralyte bonus portion of it did not.

      • Have you put the bank card in Shopback app/website and activated the Apple Pay promo from the top banner of Shopback app/website?

        Read my comment below
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16097643/redir

        • I have linked the same Westpac card to both Shopback and Apple Pay.

I did not click on the top banner in SB app. I clicked Earn More tab in SB app. Then scrolled down, clicked on Pizza Hut logo under Offers with Apple Pay section.

  • +1

In total I have bought 6x Single Wingstreet (each order include large pizza + 6 wings + beverage) for pickup today, tomorrow and Tuesday 😋 all tracked already along with Apple Pay bonus cashback. All in profit. So, basically getting paid to eat and pickup this deal 😉

    • Yeah kinda like me haha - paid to die sooner with those cal intakes lol

      • You could have a walk or brisk walking or even jogging/running in the morning before you eat the pizza and another walk after eating maybe 🤷 to burn the calories.

I did jogging, running and walking today.

  • anybody else's apple pay didnt track

    • You need to add Westpac, BoM, BSA, or St. George bank card in Shopback app. After opening the Shopback app/website, tap/click the top banner about Apple Pay promo to activate the promo. Pay through Apple Pay with the bank card of course.

      • Did all that…apple pay didn’t track for me too

        • Did you use Safari browser or Shopback app to purchase it? Which bank? Westpac? I used St. George bank card. I wonder why more had failed with Westpac card for this deal.

          • @neoleo: ShopBack app and Westpac

            • @godzilla123: Maybe try this:
              https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16090469/redir

All browsers in iPhone and iPad must use the same Webkit engine just like another Safari skin, someone said. Firefox android uses Gecko engine for example.

Maybe try to change Settings for Safari and see if tracking works in Shopback app as I think it also uses the same Webkit engine.
