    Great gin but I still maintain that Aldi's $36 bog standard gin is as good as most of the branded, even top shelf stuff.

      I agree - no one drinks gin neat, and a G&T always tastes overwhelmingly of juniper and quinine, regardless of the variables used.

      Furthermore, I also reckon the difference between coles brand tonic and say schweppes is next to nothing.

      And dont get me started on the volume of your glass, or the shape of your ice!

      But Tanqueray does look nice on your bar shelf, and can really add a touch of class to your hovel.

        Agreed, but I'm a 10 hour return drive from ALDI, so this works for me.
