Buy any Bosch Skin, get a second for $99 @ Total Tools

190

Stumbled across this one, buy any skin and get a second of equal or lesser value for $99 (mitre saws, table saws and some expensive laser levels excluded).

Some of the tools have redemption offers so for instance, A Garden Blower ($379) with a brushcutter ($99) you could then claim 2 x 8AH batteries and chargers via redemption.

I got a morning giggle out of that comment jv thanks .

    • T&Cs here: www.boschbluecrew.com.au/EndOfYearBonus2024/Content/Docs/Bos…

      I think you can.

Multiple claims allowed, you just can't claim the same promo twice

      • Thanks for the link to T&C's

"12. Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) claim is permitted per Qualifying
Purchase; and (b) each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements."

    • what else can you claim?

    • No. When you make a claim the receipt number goes into a database and cannot be used again - even if you make a mistake on the claim. And if you make a mistake on the claim even if its something minor like a typo, your claim will be rejected and then the only way to can claim is to contact customer service and cross your fingers that they will still honour it.

I love the bosch brand, but the Bosch Blue Crew redemption process can easilly go horribly wrong if you make any mistakes.

It rubs the lotion on its skin or it gets the redemption again…

  • Bosch is the best brand thanks to their universal batteries.

I'd love to make the jump from Ryobi at some point. Not yet though, as I'm so heavily invested in Ryobi.

    • What do you mean universal batteries? The bosch pro and the green bosch batteries aren't even compatible with each other.

    • Same, heavily invested in Fein, who have now moved over to Ampshare, with no adapter for the skins to Ampshare. At least the Chinese have a Fein to Bosch adapter (which isn't working for all my skins, which is nothing more than a 3.3Ohm resistor between T and N, will try other values to test)

Have the cordless 36v Bosch Garden tools, which are on their last legs @ over 10 years old. Batteries are 18650 and not produced in large capacities. Aftermarkets don't work with the blower, even rolling my own battery packs only work if I use the genuine PCB.

Will be moving to the 18v Bosch batteries and replacing my garden tools (blower + lawn mover) with their 18v skins. Which means indoor and outdoor tools.
