Dang that’s a lot of money.

Looking for a wired replacement, my current is hazy and intermittent

  • From one of the reviews on Supercheap, it looks like you have to turn on the camera manually every time you want to use, does anyone have one of this & could confirm it please!

Yes. It has an 8 hour battery in it. As John says in his video, "it isn't for having always mounted to your Caravan when crossing the Nulabor.". Its for when you arrive at the Caravan Park, Boat Ramp or home, that you pop it on and use it. Then remove once done.

If you want an always on solution, go for a Wired Solution. I have a crappy wireless one currently which is powered via the lights and its crap. I need to get a good wired one.

  • $200 for a camera you have to place and remove when you want to use it? I have no doubt it uses the same or similar sensors that most other half decent reverse cameras use. This seems premium for the sake of premium bar the idea of having to hop out of your car to attach the camera whenever you want to use it - depending on your manhood that could be embarrassing in itself. Dunno if this is really a deal considering the other perfectly adequate options on the market for half the price.
