You could just say "2 for $66".

    • Agreed. Edited, it wasn't my intention to mislead. $33.30 each if you buy two.

  • "2 for $33.30" did I read that right?

  • 2 for $66.60

The speaker on the camera is subpar, that's the only downside, but it's a dirt cheap indoor cam on $44 for 2 deal.

    • I use mine outdoors and it's legit. Why do you even use the speaker out of interest?

  • $57 for 2 pack for the older model if you can sacrifice a megapixel (in exchange for baby crying detection). Everything else the same.

C210 also has baby crying detection

      • +26

        It detects JV?

        • +2

          you'll hear JV crying!

      • Not according to the comparison chart on the same url?

        • The table says that all models shown have baby crying detection.

          • @Recollect9764: If you look at the OPs link and my link above, the charts are different lol… misleading? Or do i need another coffee?

            • @CTFlashZ: My mistake, you are right - There is definitely conflicting information, someone screwed up! I was only looking at the one webpage, didn't even consider cross-checking both links.

              • @Recollect9764: All good.. to be honest the speakers on these things are more an annoyance than helpful. If a baby cries, you'll hear it!! And you won't leave your baby home alone regardless. So it's a pretty useless feature.

                • +1

@CTFlashZ: Typically they trigger the movement alert anyway.

Having used both. Wouldn't drop $10 for the megapixel. The c210 has some feature where it can collate all recordings into a short spurt if you want a summary of what it's done in a day. The c200 doesn't. Small mention but it's a solid feature. I wouldn't skimp on $10

      • What feature is that called on the app? is it paid?

        • No, it's free. After a days recording if you access the data recordings there should be an option to summarise the day. Takes a few mins and gives you a video

    • $5 per camera extra for 50% more mp seems like a no-brainer…

  • Can people set this to recording continuesly?

  • Any suggestions for SD cards for this?

    • I grabbed these. Mostly motivated by price. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08L4Y37PC
Patriot LX Series Micro SD Flash Memory Card 64GB - 5 Pack $25.99

    • I went sandisk max endurance as I'm paranoid and have them on 24h recording. Cheaper ones might be okay, especially if you don't have the camera in direct sunlight

  • Is this compatible with an existing Tapo H200 smart hub which has a SD for local storage? Saves buying another SD card to install in the camera

  • I had previously bought several C200, some had firmware updates (to various versions), others didn’t and is stuck at 1.3.11. Any tips on how to force updates across all to the latest? Clicking on “check for updates” didn’t work.

  • Giving this a shot

Got the google doorbell and external camera cause they look nice but the picture quality is arse.

Wyze is just way too unreliable plus keeps on having annoying upgrade pop ups for their plans which drives me nuts.

    • The app is fantastic on these. Excellent low light. Just wish that the quality was high enough to read number plates 10 m away

    • I'm a convert from nest. Haven't looked back. Only change id make is bit get the 1080p version. Spend the extra dollar. But whatever.

  • Hodl at this price. Two pack will go on sale again

  • The black C211 cameras are also on special—$39 for one or $70 for two. I noticed an extra $10 discount option on the product page (I think it was called "DIY Discount"). With the discount, two black ones are $60 (white would be $56). Could be worth checking out, might be targeted.

    • I only see 1 x black for $39, no further discounts

Looking to get 4 in black, 2 for $60 would be ok, vs $78

      • Mine shows $39 for black with an extra 10% off if you buy two. You need to proceed all the way to just before payment to see the 10% off price.

        • Thanks

Went all the way to checkout, Still shows $78 for the 2
          Definitely no discount.

Went back to product page and changed delivery address to a random metro address, and got the 10% discount show up.

No extra $10 (DIY Discount as mentioned above)

It's definitely Amazon's reduced delivery options now

          • @Spending2Much: Disappointing. Makes it harder to post deals too if what people see on the site isn’t universal.

          • +1

@Spending2Much: It might be the "Get $10 off your first Home purchase with minimum spend of $60" offer I came across. Which seems only available to selected customers. But you can try the code: NP15HOME. I had a "redeem" button in the product page near where it says "Save 10% on any 2".

(edit: link code removed as it appeared as spam)

  • Do you have a link to the two black for $70?

Tip: I have two C210 cameras I bought last year. I connected them to my Synology NAS using the Surveillance Station application, so there’s no need for paid cloud storage. Setup was plug-and-play for me, and they’re not connected to the internet (directly)

Your mileage may vary, but I recommend a decent SD card with these. The heat from the camera ruins them. I went with a "High Endurance" SD Card and haven't had an issue since.

    • Totally agree, I have 2 X C200 , used the cheaper SD card (I think it was Patriot brand , both SD failed within 2 months).
Can anyone suggest a good SD card. I have them recording 24/7.

But other than that the cameras are really good and even the detection and notification is on point.

The longstanding issue of the Tapo integration with Home Assistant was fixed a couple of days ago. Solid pick now for HA.
