  • What about delivery

    • $10 to NSW 2000.

      • It's added now after i reported

  • Maximum order quantity is 4.
    $10 shipping to Victoria
    Thanks

  • There's also free pickup in store

  • +2

    Webpage says PLA, not PLA+

  • Bought 4, pick up.. just in next suburb for me. Thank op, good for prototyping

When the $10 flat-rate shipping says:

    • Free Delivery in 2-7 Business Days.

Very much confused as IMHO Free does not cost $10

Max of 4 makes it $12.50/kg. Jayo deals on eBay at 10x rolls for basic PLA comes very close to this price per KG and you get access to a variety of colours. No deal.

    • I agree but are there any current deals for those needing filament now?

  • sunlu pla isnt great :(

    • Compared to…?

      • always had great results with overture (on amazon)

never had good results with sunlu

        • +1

Interesting, have had nothing but success with the cheaper jayo sub brand. Overture does have a good reputation too

Sunlu is perfectly fine. Never had any issues with it and I've printed probably 50+kgs of it in the past year or so.
Just ran out of Black PLA today so perfect timing.

      • Perfect timing would have meant you never ran out.

    • Just ran through 5kg of Sunlu matte white PLA (and the same with Jayo matte black PLA, which is rebranded Sunlu) and it's been excellent

    • No issues with Sunlu and Jayo filament

You'd be better off getting the Jayco/kingroon specials on eBay. Colour selection and currently eBay 20% specials it's $116petg or $107pla for 10kg with $18 postage for my location.

      And if I don’t need 10kg?

      • Well you aren't discarding the printer after 4kg are you?

    • I could have given you 8+ rolls of Kingroon. I threw them out. So many issues, with them jamming or clogging my P1S.

They are not worth the hassle. I now only buy Siddament or CC3D from Amazon. I have no issues with Siddament, or CC3D. I order CC3D for a one off.

I found my batch of kingroon to be unreal on my k1. I've only tried the PLA though. I can't imagine the quality control is as good as a more expensive brand though.

Siddaments variety and colours look good. I'll have to give them a try, their CF selection is unreal.

      • Any particular siddament filaments you like? I've been using PLA from sunlu and esun but live down the road and would like to support a local

        • PLA silk, PETG CF or PLA CF all priced well and top notch.

  • I won't buy the cheap stuff anymore, not worth it. Of the cheap stuff I have tried Sunlu and Jayo and got to say that the colours are not good at all. They all are muted, the whites are see through and the metallics are not metallic at all. Definitely not as good as Bambu which is expensive or Siddament, which is quality at a very good price. The PETG from Jayo also quite stringy and doesn't print well.
My go-to is Siddament and generally the black spools are very well priced. Helps that I can pick up too so makes it convenient not having to pay for shipping.
Siddament downside is alot of filaments sell out quickly.
You can't really go wrong with Suds stuff, and if you have a problem he backs it up.
