  • Wonder what the bitrate is.

  • Does MS purchased movies have Atmos like Apple Itunes?

  • The UHD seems to be only 1080p! Not really 4K. Title needs to be updated.

If you have the means, fully go for the physical copies of the LOTR series. A must have collection.

i cant imagine having 'purchased' digital movies being split up on multiple platforms. such a mess. physical all the way for owned media

i have all 3 extended 4k physical, its a marvel to watch on a nice tv

        • I second that. TCL c855 owner here. 🤗

Also watched the movie Life the other day and it sparkles on the c855. Superb quality!

As a XSX owner, remember kids: You don't own digital content.

Buy the bluray 4k media elsewhere instead, our console cannot truly play 4k movies but it will play just fine with exceptional audio quality.
I was using my XSX before buying a dedicated bluray player.
No internet required, no subscriptions required, zero risk of having it deleted from your account :)

"iOS and Android, Amazon, Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku devices."

Movies Anywhere is not available for titles sold on the Australian store, so none of these devices will work.

And in the fine print, under System Requirements, it says UHD is available for Xbox only (so not even Windows gets the 4K stream).
