Misleading advertising, 2x5000mAh batteries in series is 5000mAh not 10,000mAh.
What would be the practical difference?
Most battery packs advertise as 20,000mAh but are multiple 5000mAh cells?

Sorry what do you mean by this? That there are 2 5000mAh batteries inside the casing?
They are measuring the 10,000 mAh at a lower voltage than what the product would operate at.
This is very common though, isn't it? Most battery banks and mobile devices report battery capacity in mAh @3.7V not whatever their actual pack voltage is
Can anyone share if they have had this and the Elite Strap with battery and if this is better/worse?
I've used the elite style strap and the M3 (same thing, smaller battery, no face fan). It's way comfier for me but ymmv. My wife said the other one is comfier. For non-standing/moving content, I feel like the battery gets in the way a bit.
I dont see how this is worth $140 .. just got a halo strap from Temu with 10000mah powerbank for $60 and $50 credit back so basically $10 .. I know that BoboVR moght be the leading company in Quest accessories but still ..

Using mine since pre-release, love it, make sure pair it with “ice silk” face cover for the summer.
The fan kinda useless, since it is directly block by its cushioning so I don’t know the design idea here. The back knob is smaller , for lay down/back use , but still very noticeable. Overall if you can find a cheap m3 go get those if battery isn’t your concern.
Batteries are way better than the old versions. Keeps up with the quest3

Upgrading from q2 to q3 today - great timing as was just about to look at upgrades.
Can anyone recommend a Quest 3 case that fits this adequately? For eg. I much prefer the Meta Quest case for the simplicity, quality but it obviously won't fit it.
I have this with the D3 dock. I would recommend this as an effortless way to keep the headset, b100 battery and both controllers charged and ready
I think I bought this exact one for $114 a couple of months back. Pretty sure its the same model. I got a big head and its comfy enough
