Flex head also available for $99 from total tools https://www.totaltools.com.au/127962-gearwrench-12-pc-flex-h…

    • That's a better buy than the post imo. Flex for sure👌

Unless you have a need for the flex head, it's not necessarily better given they can slip easily. Best option would be to buy both sets!

        • Yeah true.

        • I use a tyre lever to hold the spanner in place .

      • As someone who is considering purchasing a set just to have 'just in case', would you recommend the flex head or non-flex? Or don't purchase them at all?
I don't work with tools and just occasionally assemble furniture, home gym equipment, mount stuff to the wall, minor repairs around the house, etc.
        Cheers in advance!

Flex head for the option. Makes things easier in the tight spaces.

These are a reputable brand for quality.
But I don't know what you'll do, do you know what you'll do? 😅
          But yeah, flex head.

            @teereb: Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Honestly will probably only use them once a year, I just know I would be upset if one day I needed them and didn't purchase them on sale!

            • @thelocalgod: I'm much like yourself tbh. Won't need them more than one a year but would hate to go to Bunnings later and end up with some crap for likely more money.

Asked my mate who's a mechanic and he said what I said above, more or less.

Someone below said chrome finish ones. But much a muchness in the end.

Haven't bought it, and already lost the 10mm

    • I lost all my 10mm in metrics and imperial in my supercheap auto set, glad its not just me lol

No complaints about the price hey @Jimothy Wongingtons

      Heaps nice

    • My only complaint is this is basically RRP now

  • Price is good but is regularly around this. Have these and the flex head and they are OK but the fact they have no offset can make them hard to use in places and also the finish is bad for getting filthy and retaining it. Can never seem to get the grim and oil off them unlike the chrome finish ones. OK for occasional use but chrome finish are much better and can be got sometimes around same price.

    Consideration…wait for ~ 20% off sales: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/202277971361

    1/2" Drive is heavy duty.

Not helpful. The aim of the racket spanner is that it fits over U Bolts and other things that have a longer bold.

      • Correction bolt

  • Any good options at Sydney Tools to add to this to get the free shipping ($100 spend)?

    • I had a scan through their Xmas list, looks like this is the only decent quality item that is heavily discounted right now.

Is the other Total Tools set a good price? Do you think Sydney Tools would price match if I went in there? Or vice versa, Total Tools would price match this set?

  • Any deals on the 16pce Metric ?

  • How does this compare to the following from amazon? https://www.amazon.com.au/HORUSDY-Flex-Head-Ratcheting-Set-W…
