This game can be obtained without a Netflix subscription from December 17.
For the first time ever, Netflix will make its upcoming party royale game Squid Game: Unleashed available to everyone for a limited time, regardless if you’re a Netflix member or not. The announcement was made Thursday, live at The Game Awards in Los Angeles, ahead of the game’s December 17 release. Like all Netflix Games, Squid Game: Unleashed will come without any ads or in-app purchases.
I mean, they did a series, it got surprisingly big, they then took a couple years to drop a second season, and are promoting it at Maccas and with a phone game.
Considering the spontaneous overnight success and then multiple year wait for a follow up, I don't think they're doing enough to remind people it exists honestly.
There's also the Netflix game show, netflix range of foods last year at coles, smiths chips range, toys and other merchandise, and so many clothing brand collabs.
