  • They have been between $3.50 to $7 at my local coles for past 4 weeks. Apparenty its a deleted line in some stores.

(profanity) you’d have to be desperate to eat this shit.

It looks like the meat they put in those big dog rolls/sausages, except white.

    🤮

    • Agreed that it's overrated, but definitely edible.

  • Is the Nashville the hot one?

    • +3

Yes, it says so on the bag also….

As a side note, i used to love these until i had what i can only presume to be a puss ball/pocket…. i was in the middle of eating it when i tasted something odd and when i looked there was white stuff that had oozed out from under the crumb.

really ruined it for me as i loved these when on special…..

Eww, yeah cheap and nasty. I used to get these but have been unimpressed lately.

  • are these better than the tenders?

    • +7

      No, they're both equally garbage

Shrinkflation on Tegel products has been wild - quality has gone from "decent KFC alternative" to "wouldn't feed it to your dog"

Birds processed in NZ, ingredients added, flash fried, flash frozen, packaged, then sent 2000+ km in refrigerated transport to the Colesworth DC, then delivered in refrigerated trucks to your local Colesworth

Then sold to you for $7/kg with the fake half price discount and Colesworth still making money

      • Damn. I bet I can roast better chicken in a competitive price.

    • I lost 25kg with airfried nashville tendies being the staple (first 6 or 7 were with the precursor to these).

Exceptional product, part of migrating from NZ was ensuring availability of quality tenders - despite the shipping and cost, they beat out the local colesworth competition for me quite easily.

      • love the tendies, and they are done quicker in the air fryer too - half the time of these portions. think i'll give these a miss and wait until the tendies are available again

    These are not very good.

    • Yep, super salty

      Easily declined

      • I bought some of the burgers. They were horrible and very salty.

Used to be good but when I had them again they were borderline inedible. Grey, oily, slimy. Avoid.
