Konec Sim/eSim Plan (Telstra Network) 259GB 1-Year for $182 (Was $259) Delivered @ Konec Mobile

150

Konec mobile 1 year at $182, uses the telstra network. Possibly the best value Telstra MVNO plan $/GB? In comparision Boost 265gb via topcashback can be had for $208 after cashback. So you are saving $26. 4g only at this price. I am not sure when it expires, nor about the activation date.

can't compare to Boost then because Boost has full 5G last i remember

would pay the $26 for Boost IMO

Yes, I agree. But there are still people who have only 4g phones or don't need 5g, so might be useful for some.

      • no he means Boost uses the full rural network of telstra, where this provider uses the wholesale version that doesnt include the regional coverage

    • +2

Also doesn't include international calls to 15 countries in the yearly plans.

Includes them in the monthly for some of them.

      Still a good find though

  • So many Telstra resellers - is it easier to become one?

It seems like you need to be a former PM or a tier 1 telco in disguise

      • you need to be a former PM

        🤔

        • Paul Keating had a stake in Boost

  • No matter which sim we use now, the problem is too much with the reception especially in any shop i enter :(

    • Yes, we are on Boost and it is not usable inside large shopping centres.

      • +1

Because Telstra have outsold its network. Its exhausted

      • +1

because shopping centres need to team up with providers to install IBC (In building connection) but most don't do this. very silly.

Thank you Santa , I was going to buy this off eBay for two hundred smackers . Did I hear early Christmas present , anyone !

    • No, but did someone say KFC?

Nice find! Anyone ported from Telstra prepaid to Konec? Any issues? How long did it take?

What about a cheaper plan for 12 months but not needing as much data, remaining on Telstra?

    Any suggestions?

For common wealth bank customers, try combank app to see offers on more mobile, same cost around $15/ month for 1 year will get international calls or $9/month without international calls, telstra mvno/wholesale coverage, Thanks

      • Hmmm not a customer but i can become one…Thank you.

        • Procrastination is mental gymnastics

    • I think this Konec is currently the cheapest. It works out at just over $15 a month. The other cheap plan would be belong at $19 a month.

  • Has anyone tried to use Konec in a Telstra-locked phone?

    • -2

Give konec a call , they should be able to steer you in the right direction ⬇️⬆️

  • Silly question.. but for the esim option, can it be activated at a later time?

    • For people who are interested.. just get the physical SIM which expires ~June 2025, once activated you can then convert to eSIM.

  • The SIM will expire on 31st July 2025.

    According to their agent.

    • Interesting, I also got on the phone and they said end of June 2025…
