It's not terrible, but endgame is very meh. And now with POE2 in early access, you can see how much better the genre could be. I would argue even POE1 is better in terms of endgame content.

It's a pretty great game. Easily worth $50 IMO. I had a ton of fun with it and enjoyed the end-game to beat Uber Lilith.

Yeah. I think with the recent patches, it's finally worth $15. I played vanilla for almost-free on GamePass (bought from turkey with the old OZB workaround), and I wanted my $1 back.
Honestly, just get gamepass for a month if you really want to try. I put something like 120 hours into it and I don't remember a single quest or character. It feels like the game equivalent of watching a netflix series and being on your phone the whole time.
When it comes to mediocre games I don't consider the price… I consider the value of my time being wasted on a game that I know won't really bring me any joy.
Watching a subpar movie wastes a few hours of your life, playing a subpar RPG can waste many many hours.

@PainToad: I agree, but I’m also someone that doesn’t ever look to maximise a “hours to win” to “cost of game” ratio. In fact, I’ll often play a game over another because one is shorter and with my limited time sometimes it’s nice to have more bite sized experiences I can see through without dragging on for months.
I can see how the price is more relevant if you don’t have a bit of expendable income, otherwise price is pretty low on my priority list.

If i paid $100 for a game and only got 10 hours of enjoyment out of it that would be disappointing. If i paid one dollar and got 10 hours of enjoyment then thats a bargain.

Your example is $100 for 8 hours vs $100 for zero hours. Games that give no enjoyment are not a bargain, i agree.

If I had to guess, Avatar just got a PS5 Pro patch and might have more life in it as a result sales wise. Could also just be that they’re sitting on stacks of Xbox stock that hasn’t moved in the year.

I got the PS4 Diablo IV during the JB HiFi's two for $30.00 deal last time, but this is a better deal.
Don't worry - none of the good stuff is available to be shipped, and even if so, shipping is pretty pricey. No stock in my local stores, so you spend time 'shopping', go to your cart and then you see it's basically not available, or stupidly pricey to ship in multiple packages.

Any good party games for the switch on sale? I'm starting to get sick of playing Mario Party whenever my mates come over and I have no idea what other games are out there.
These probably aren't on sale but have a look at the Jackbox games. You play on the tv but use your phone to draw on and answer questions. It's an absolute blast. Some other games we play on party nights are hidden in plain site, clusterpuck, heave ho, cake bash, Pico park 1 and 2, use your words and what the dub. My switch gets used so much for party games. Hope that helps!

Great prices, but I do find it really crappy when stores run a limited sale and then mid way into it, before most of the original orders are even fulfilled, a retailer does a flash sale that significantly undercuts the sale price of the same items leaving everyone who got in early disadvantaged and still waiting for their item.
Don’t think any games I purchased last night were impacted, and those are probably sold out mind you. Still, maybe they should do the larger discounts off the bat, announce it ahead of time and let people gamble on waiting, or withhold different stock for the flash sale.
Anyway, took advantage and got a few more titles.
Well they got us excited and that’s the aim.
So all the actual deals happen before and after black friday/cyber monday. ill remember that for next year
