Didn't Alan Wake get delisted due to music license expiring a couple of years ago? (Source: the reason I purchased it in the first place to add to the stash of games I will probably never play)

    • +1

Yes, this is true and that's also when I bought my copy off Steam due to FOMO (also bought the expansion) still haven't played it though 😓#theshameisreal

But low and behold, shortly after this, the publisher renewed the music license anyway and it has been available with the music for everyone since then. Very rare for a publisher to do this afaik and I'm very glad they did it👍

If Sega had a brain, they would renew OutRun 2006 Ferari licence and it would sell gangbusters, as it's still one of the best arcade racers ever made, even to this day.

Wolfenstein 2009 would also sell like hotcakes if Activision weren't so dumb (and busy destroying the franchise with Young Blood) and they just sorted out the license, they would make a lot of money, especially if they did a remaster.

There are so many other examples of this, it's mind boggling the incompetency that exists right now in the gaming industry, especially at the executive level.

Kudos to Activision for actually getting it right for a change😂

      • *Microsoft not Activision 😅
