      • Oh okay, that is why

        • It amazes me how a large company like Samsung consistently overlooks these errors.

          • @Maths Debater: You are right about that, then if there are any errors they are going to cancel it because they think people taking advantage of these errors.

  • still plenty of stock I guess. Tried 150 and the cart reverted to 98 lol https://gyazo.com/5c5aa555d0389ea725df85d039f40d0e

  • as the stack code doesn't work anymore the order may got cancelled as they know the error

      • +2

Why did they stop it if it wasn't an error?

        • The $750 deal was an error because the discount code took more off the total value than it should have. Stacking multiple codes on top of each other is not an error in the same way. People have been using these methods for discounted Samsung goods for years.

That said, it's not a done deal until the TV is delivered!

  • +2

Spoke with customer support regarding my order ($910), apparently its being cancelled due to security reasons.

    You cant win with Samsung.

    • i don't think they even got that many orders this time around, security reason that's new…

    • Ahhh that’s a shame!! Bloody Samsung.

    • +1

What the hell does that even mean?!

      • Here's what they said when i asked about the secuity reason:

"The order was not processed successfully, and you will be needing to place a new one."

They took my money successfully though.

        • What was your order status before that? Awaiting dispatch?

    • Did you order more than 1? I know a friend that ordered 3 ($910 each) and his got cancelled today even though it was saying awaiting shipment. I ordered just 1 and I have received a delivery date (tomm) with tracking.

      • who the hell orders 3

        • Greedy people I guess. But he has a good reason, he wanted to replace 2 semi old (7 years old) low end TV's and the 3rd was for his work mate.

      • Did you order at $910?

        • Yes shipped for me

          • @wisb0: Are you freaking out for today's delivery? Because I am. Wall mount of stand? I am looking at the Samsung slim fit wall mounts and a wall cable cover.

Anyone got a 15% discount they are willing to share?
    Thanks!

  • All codes does not stacked anymore

Received a delivery window for tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

    • Out for delivery. Looking good!

Delivered and installed. Popcorn about to be popped.

        • +1

A minus vote for providing an update that this was delivered? Oh well.

  • +2

Yup, got the SMS for delivery tomm. I paid $910 all up. Now the adventure of finding a free or sub $20 TV to trade in lol. I really thought this was not going to happen for me seeing the fiasco of the $650 deal last month with Samsung refunding everyone's money. For me it's a big upgrade coming from a 2011 Panasonic Plasma (one of the last great Plasma's). I couldn't get myself to get an LCD TV in the past 13 years due to never being able to get used to the blurry motion and greyish blacks. OLED's were always beyond my budget. This will be interesting to see how much better it is vs my Plasma that I still cannot let go of. I might do a side by side comparison lol, seeing how well does a 2011 top of the line Panasonic Plasma compares to this 2023 release OLED TV.

    • I still have my Panasonic Viera model haha, such great plasma TVs and heavy back in the day.

      • +1

Yea it does weigh a lot as it uses proper thick glass for the front. Also it just won't die. These Made In Japan TV's man…..built like a tank, probably will last 20+ years of daily use. Most likely indefinitely. They don't overbuild TV's like these now. I constantly laugh at people saying, if my $5000 latest 4K HDR Wifi streaming with all the whizbang features TV lasts 5 years then it's a good purchase. It makes me nervous about buying new TV's. They just feel so light and fragile.

    • how much was ur old plasma. plasma is still great, itop of line old stuff still beats cheap lcd shitty stuff

      • +1

The Panasonic in 2011 I purchased from Harvey Norman for $2500 during a black Friday sale after some hard negotiation buying a bunch of other stuff like bed's and Fridges. (I was single back then and was spending money like crazy, even had a new Lexus, 50% of pay on overseas travels, no savings, living the life). Now I am married with 3 kids, I have to Ozbargain deals even for instant noodles lol. So this $910 OLED was a deal of the century for me. (Let's see if we get it, don't count the chickens yet, it's not over until the TV is sitting in the Living room).

        • $910 is a fantastic deal, especially if it turns out to be a Gen 2 panel as a bonus.I'll definitely check that out first out of curiosity!

          • +1

@ATB: Yea nah, not too fussed at the $910 price. If I paid $2000+, I would be peeved. Also I am sure these would have been made in 2024 so probably Gen 2 panels me thinks. Best to not check lol and just enjoy the discount purchase and a win for actually getting it. (Again not counting the chickens, it has not been delivered yet lol).

          • @ATB: You need a special remote for that

            • +1

@wisb0: plug straight to my PC - Color Control App https://github.com/Maassoft/ColorControl

              • +1

@ATB: Damn, you guys are TV experts. Thanks for the tips but yea not too fussed to check. For $910, even if it's a 2020 OLED panel; good enough for the lounge room TV lol.

                  • +1

@ATB: Down the rabbit hole I go….should have stayed out of the comment section hahahaha. Now I have already bookmarked calibration settings, do's and don't videos and now to check panel gen and factory setting access mode. I am not even a person that does these things but now am intrigued lol.

          • @ATB: @ATB - did you confirm if it is a Gen2 panel yet?

            • @oyster25: not yet, onboard with delivery driver. I will post it here later on.

                • +1

@ATB: Nice spotting of the date! Thanks for confirming the panel :)

    • +1

lol, same, i still got my 2011 Panasonic plasma which still working great, it's bloody heavy though

  • +1

delivered just now! gave them my 14yr old 24" Samsung TV good riddance it's been collecting dust for yonkies waiting for this moment to shine once more

changed my mind tho and pawned S90C to a neighbour at no loss. I want a 65"..

    • Damn, the people that missed out on the $910 double dipping discount price would be spewing reading this comment. Mine is coming in the next 2hrs. (According to tracking). It will be the kids gaming TV's so 55" is pretty alright plus they sit literally like 5 feet away from the TV on the floor so it's massive for them.

      • +1

one of those who missed out was my neighbour so it's a win win

  • I received a text message for delivery 3 hours later. I don't have time to grab a free tv from gumtree. I thought the would send the message at least a day on advance

    • I am trying to reschedule the delivery date

      • rescheduled to next Wednesday

    • Someone neg voted your comment. I have fixed it. I was in the same boat looking for free junk TV's on Gumtree and Facebook for the last 48hrs and every free unit I find is like 45mins or more away or they get sold instantly. I found one today but had to bite the bullet and drive 45mins (30km each way) and pick up a $20 LG TV 42". I didn't want to delay the delivery. You are a brave soul delaying delivery with Samsung by rescheduling, they might refund your money instead lol. Just kidding. Mine is apparently being delivered in the next 2hrs. Will update when it's finally here, as they say, with Samung deals, don't count your chickens before the chickens are already in the house.

  • Received the SMS for delivery tomorrow. $980 no trade in.

    • What was the estimated delivery date when you placed your order?

      • I requested the 13th

  • Just got my text for delivery tomorrow. $910 with a trade in… I'm considering on-selling and putting the profits toward a 65"

  • Mine is delivered. $910 + $20 to source a used TV on Facebook for trade in.

    • Whats the process for the changeover? Do you know if remote and TV stands are an expectation?

      • +1

They just grabbed it and went. Didn't even ask if it worked. Literally 30 seconds. Didn't even get asked to sign for delivery.

  • Delivery tomorrow confirmed for me as well. No trade in, $980.

    Anyone got a spare code?
    Thanks

  • +1

Delivered nearly an hour earlier than the advised 3hr delivered window. Couple hundred bucks more than the "pricing error" from a few weeks ago, but sub $1k is still a pretty good price for brand name OLED.

  • +1

Got the notification yesterday, TV got delivered this morning. Everything was nice and smooth, all codes were stacked, including an old TV that we kept in the storage cage to reduce the total

Mine just got delivered too. Now to decide whether to open and use it. Whats everyones first thoughts on the TV? Never used an OLED before.

    • why buy if no use

      • -1

For obvious reasons. It was a steal.

        • then sell it

    • You have to have sources with HDR and 4K to truly appreciate it. Free to Air and other sub 1080P content will look the same as most other TV's apart from much better motion resolution and deeper blacks but nothing like HDR blacks. When you put on a high bitrate 4K HDR source, it becomes like a window into the real world, you will be giggling and start pixel peeping. At 55" you can sit literally 1m away and not see pixels when viewing 4K HDR. Worth it if your lounge chair is close to your TV at max 2m.

  • So they sent me a faulty TV which is as good as North Korean democracy. Called to have it replaced, they started a “process” to send a technician first which will take 1 week and then after assessment and report sent to Samsung will determine its fate.

  • TV arrived today. We are loving it. Much bigger, brighter, better than what we were used to, and all that for $910!
    Christmas came early this year!

How many HDR 4K Youtube video's did you stream? hehehehe. Amazing right?
