Why do you need a new one if the old one sounds like it works? Are you logging into this said router so often that the UI matters? Save your money or spend it on something else!

    I’m also based in Australia.

    • the router thats the asus is staying where my mum is staying so that's why I'm getting a new one

      • Take the Asus RT-AX92U spider with you and get mum one of these.

        Asus RT-AX59U AX4200 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 Router $199 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Umart / MSY.
        TP-Link Deco X68 AX3600 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 Router (1-Pack) $139 Delivered @ Amazon AU.

The Asus RT-AX59U has more ethernet ports than the TP-Link Deco X68 if that matters.

  • What issues are you facing with your current setup? Is there any difference in terms of area covered, Ethernet wiring, etc?

        Ax1800s would likely be sufficient.

AX86U Pro(or something in the AX86U line) is decent.

And, if your budget is tight, a few of the Telstra ones off Gumtree can be ok.

  • I'm not based in Australia so can't help.

    • what did u have in mind

    • It's called New America now.

OP, Don't fret over "breaking the bank". They are doing pretty good job on their own.

    • Are you based at the Redmond Campus in Washington?
