Travel eSIM USA for Motorola Edge 50 Neo

Recently purchased Motorola Edge 50 Neo for using eSIM for overseas travel for upcoming USA trip.

However having difficulty finding provider the phone eSIM is comparable with. Looked at Travelkon, but T mobile says phones physical sim card will work, but not eSIM.

I need to keep physical SIM in for home mobile, so can anyone recommend a provider selling eSIMS compatible with this phone?

Ideally after unlimited data and unlimited phone calls.

  • Download the Airalo app and see if they have any compatible eSIMs for your intended purpose.

  • I understood that all esims are the same, and compatible with any esims supporting device. Maybe the phone is new and not on the eSIM list yet?
Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

    Why pay?
Use the Verizon 100GB for 30 days

Lots of other eSIM deals if you search OzBargain

The issue is whether your phone's 4G/5G bands are compatible (or compatible enough) with the US networks, not whether their esim is compatible with your phone.

From memory TMobile is the loosest in terms of what phones can connect to it. I believe you will be able to connect the Moto, but you need to check what the band coverage will be like. There is a website where you can check this on but the name escapes me at the moment.

It may also depend on where you will be travelling - providers tend to use X band in a big city and Y band when more rural, etc.

If your device is eSIM compatible, there is no reason why it wouldn't work. You should be able to install any eSIMs to it.
