Problem is I'm used to Adobe software, and most of the industry uses it.. I have contemplated Affinity in the past. May still try it

Went to cancel the promo sub, then chatted with the online help and got a renewal for TRY 2871. (~AUD$129.09)
Through chat, they offered me a first discount and then a second discount, then said they couldn't do better.
Then when I pushed, they offered a monthly plan of TRY319 but with 3 months free, so total is only going to be TRY2871 for the 12 months, and then it will be TRY3828 (~AUD$172.13) for the following 12 months if it stays at TRY319 p/m.
Was this chat on Adobe Turkey website?
I turned on a VPN to make sure, but I just did it from within the accounts page where I was sitting on the 'cancellation offer' they give before you cancel. I didn't specifically log onto the Turkish website.
Ok, I thought you had to be logged into the Turkish website since the account / offer is Turkish instead of Australian. Do you remember which Adobe website you were logged into when doing the chat. Only asking as I can’t chat in Turkish !

@PredatorvsAlien: I literally just went to my Adobe account from CC, and then opened a chat. I didn't have to speak in Turkish. Their chat reps speak English.
I tried, best I got offered is: TRY 399.00/mo, with 3 months free. Not as good as yours! Have 7 days to accept offer. I might try chat again, and see if I can get it down
@PredatorvsAlien: Which Adobe CC plan are you guys talking about? I'm on the 20GB mainly just Adobe LR. It went up from 63,74TR to 358,80TRY. Tried to negotiate on chat, but could only get 3 months free. No further discounts, despite trying.
I accepted their 3 months, but after that I may just cancel and resubscribe when I'm using it more often.
@hazwing: I got given two months free via the normal cancellation process for my 20Gb plan. My main use was doing watermarks in LR with the occasional PS job for a local band. They don't pay so I had no issue ditching it lol
I managed to score the same plan as above. Thank you for your guidance otherwise I would have settled for a more expensive plan. I also had to push many times and insist that I will cancel my subscription. TRY319 x 9 months (3 months free). (Approx AUD $14.50/month = $130.50)
The process took around ~40mins from start to deal.
Followed the same steps and was using a VPN.I did ask Adobe to charge me for the year upfront, but they wouldn't, the deal must be a monthly charge.
I am trying to go on a subscription diet.
Just got an email saying my Turkish plan was going from $30 to $130 annually. Guess I'll be cancelling.

I mostly use Lightroom and even then it's only to add watermarks to pics on my phone. Not sure what I'll switch to .
That makes sense, if you only use one app. Probably add watermarks via a free application or one-off payment
I figure if I ever lose my Turkish sub I’d just swap to affinity
