LG EVO C4 Vs B4

I will be looking at getting a new 65" TV (happy to wait til EOY sales)..

I've narrowed down to LG C4 but then also noticed the B4 model, specs seem similar on paper but currently $1,500 price difference ($4,295 vs $2,795) on JB website… Is the price difference worth it?

Does anyone want to hazard a guess at what the "sale" price could be during the Box Day sales?

FWIW, the Hisense U8NAU ($2,295) appears to have amazing reviews also although it's Mini LED. I currently have a Hisense Q8 so would I notice a big step going to one of the LG OLED screens?

It's going to be used as the every day family tv, and worth noting that I love to watch my sports!

  • The main difference is the OLED panel which is also the reason c4 is more expensive.

You would be hard pressed to notice any difference between these 2 models, they’ll both be great for you.

The 65” C4 has been available for $2500ish several times (including last week). The B4 is a bit of a rarer breed and I can’t recall seeing it lower than that.

I haven’t seen the Hisense in person, but in general I don’t trust Hisense or TCL when it comes to sport because of motion blur and other motion related issues.

OLED > Mini LED in almost every aspect, go compare them in a shop and see for yourself (don’t listen to shop assistants with alterior motives).

I have one of the older B models (B2?) and it's great. The C was a bit brighter and a bit punchier, but I don't have 2 TVs side by side in my living room. The B model is still an amazing screen.

    • That's a great price, but unfortunately they don't offer delivery to VIC… I hope that we'll see similar sale prices from the usual outlets (JB, TGG..etc) around Box Day sales…

just use it to get price match or price beat!
