    any bargain ?

Nope. Somehow these Ebay deals get upvotes no matter how stingy and how many hoops you have to jump through.

Another rubbish deal. Essentially $30 off $400, across 2 transactions with a 30 day expiry.

    • +3

These kind of deals are worst….none should fall in trap of doing transaction to get benefit on next transaction

The worst part is that this $30 coupon cannot be combined with the usual eBay discount codes.

Yeah seems like ebay have gone next level of trying to wriggle out of giving advertised discounts. Some sort of slimy bait and switch. I only heard the first of these "buy X and get Y off a Z voucher" recently, so I imagine some execs in an airport lounge must have dreamed up this great idea recently.

I noticed the ebay plus $5/month discount minimum spend has gone from $30 to $50 too. I'm still on the annual plan I got last year in some deal, going to cancel it now so it doesn't auto resubscribe.

Don't be fooled. The conditions can be tricky, the voucher doesn't always come.
Worst, as always is that "vouchers" are mutually exclusive with discounts, meaning they're only useful for something at full price without a coupon code, which would negate the majority of the reason I buy off eBay.

  • so baddd. Thanks OP still for posting.

i did this, and the voucher randomly turned into a $250 min spend. i also cant use it on much either. be weary.

You can definitely contact eBay to get the right one.

  • Anyone got insight into WTF eBay’s marketing team is thinking with these promos?

    • +1

They’re just keeping discounts within their seller fees, always <10%

Someone has to pay for the painfully slow and useless eBay chat customer service reps by giving us awful promos like this.

  • I am an active seller on eBay (about 1000 items per year) and I never receive discounts or similar offers from eBay, despite being a Plus subscriber too. This offer is likewise targeted and I haven't received it.

As far as eBay is concerned I'm a rusted on customer who doesn't need any incentives, and that's annoying.

  • what a crap deal
