Motorola Edge 50 Neo Purchased from Mobileciti Black Friday Deal Arrived Unsealed

Bought Motorola Edge 50 Neo from Mobileciti via eBay. It's says brand new, but when I opened the packing the seal tag has been opened already.

Wonder why do they need to open the seal ?

Should I consider returning it. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Mobileciti.

The broken seal just shatters my peace of mind. Why do they have to break the trust.

Are they installing any malware before handing it out to customers 🤔.

    O.P.'s username checks out.

  • Maybe they just want to make sure it turns on before mailing to you.

  • I bought 2 x Edge 50 Neo from their ebay store @ $350 ea during the sale, both came via express post and both phones were sealed.

  • Return it . Did you record opening ?

  • Yup, recorded video.

  • You mentioned in the Motorola G84 forum that you bought that phone and it was unsealed. And in this forum you bought the Edge 50 Neo that is unsealed?

Yep a shop definitely installed malware on your phone. FFS.

  • Mine from Bing Lee hasn't arrived at all yet, so count yourself lucky!

They're installing the malware as soon as they've unsealed it. Be with you soon.

  • I'll buy it off you if you are unhappy that it's not sealed ;)

  • it is Hunter Biden's phone?

    Hi @doctor strange and All

Thank you for sharing your concern. We’d like to reassure you that all our products are sold as brand new and factory-sealed. Occasionally, that paper seals may get damaged during transit, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We do not tamper with or open any devices, and we take your trust very seriously. If you’re unhappy with the condition of the product, please contact our Customer Service team ([email protected]) with photos and the serial/IMEI number. We’ll gladly assist with a replacement or refund.

  • Be careful with Mobileciti's ability to return stock or refund. I have been going back and forth for months. After taking months to accept and repair a phone, they sent it to the wrong address and somehow that is my fault that I have to wait weeks for them to resolve it with Auspost instead of issuing me a refund so I can get a new phone elsewhere.
