Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with Amazon and was hoping someone here could help.
I have two email addresses, one with Gmail and one with Yahoo. I had Amazon accounts linked to both, but since I wasn’t active on one of them, I decided to delete it. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the account I used the most, which had around $360 in gift card balance attached to it.
I’ve been trying to resolve this by contacting Amazon support through chat, but each time the agent says they can’t do anything and will escalate the issue to their manager or account team. They promise I’ll receive an email within 24 hours, but this has happened 3–4 times now, and I haven’t received any emails.
Today, I tried calling Amazon support, but the experience was even worse. The agents didn’t seem to care about my issue, and one even hung up on me when I asked to speak with their manager!
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice on how to get this resolved would be greatly appreciated.
