With new seasons on the horizon, an update on these old deals.

A refresh of a couple of existing posts, for those who don't want to jump through retention hoops. I can't promise I've got them all, but I've scanned the available NBL/NRL/AFL clubs and the results are below. While it looks like the AFL clubs no longer compete on price (do they not OzBargain?), they have gone upmarket and are offering Kayo Basic. Plenty of variety with the NRL and NBL (although a tier below) so you can support your club.

Who am I kidding… Illawarra Hawks for the win!

I've summarised some of the extra perks available in addition to Kayo, but please refer to site for full details.

No - perhaps that's because they dont want to shamelessly admit they are now presenting a 'Number Two' to Aussie sports fans with these ridiculous year-on-year pricing hikes, lack of 4K content availabiliy and disfunctional app implementation across the various platforms?

      • Julian Ogrin who’s the CEO of hubble/Streamotion is fkn useless. Was also pretty shit at amaysim before that. ‘Jobs for the boys’ is probably an apt description on how he got to where he is

  • Just a warning to others. North Melbourne purposely auto renew Digital Memberships beginning of October, way ahead of the next season start in March. So be sure to cancel your membership well ahead if you don't plan on renewing. In their defence, they send out an email with some ambiguous wording indicating that they will auto renew your sub. Mixed luck on if they will let you cancel after the auto-renewal (a mate of mine was able to get a refund, while I wasn't able to).. Crap football club, crap membership management.

    • Pretty sure they all do this. Hawks did the same.

Can confirm Collingwood did this to. Complained and they refunded the money…

      • Same here, quick to refund and no questions asked though.

  • Which AFL club doesn't auto renew?

    • You only have to send an email to cancel.

  • Can I watch all the Kayo offerings if I sign up with one these? I mean can I watch other sports such as cricket live, replays and minis?

    • +2

yes - you can even watch darts!

stone skipping is where its at

  • I renewed Port Adelaide interstate, price is $370 on the website, not $350

  • Anyone seen any good deals for NBA League Pass. I CBF trying the technique to get access through India or Turkey.

Would have snapped up the 50% off coupon the other day for BlackFri but needed a US-based credit card to check out and couldn’t swing it.

Kayo too pricey to justify for me when AFL not in the mix so won’t resub until March.

I know you ‘cbf’ but India iTunes (after account creations) is one the of the easiest subs I have signed up to.

Change app store, load card from Amazon India, start sub.

  • If I can find a way to get access to F1 TV Pro I'm out….

Nord vpn to nz. Works great

      • I'll give that a shot next season. I had tried to use Nord at one point but they had a crack down on VPN connections and I couldn't get in.

        • Yea I thought the same thing. But can confirm it is working at today’s date. Getting ready for FP3 shortly :)

      • How much does that cost you per month/year?

        • Around 100 nzd per year. But there is alot of content that you dont normally get

    • Yep, not paying $350 to just watch F1 and the odd AFL or NFL game.

    • But that is only F! 1 right? No NRL or AFL…

  • NRL
Wests Tigers $240 (Kayo One, 10% off merchandise, 10% off tickets)

  • Commonwealth bank Yello has kayo one for $180 if you don't care about the membership

$220 through the eels with code EELSKAYO

    • Also got that email. Now hopefully they can actually win something for their poor members and fans!

  • If I redeem this now, does it add 12 months on to my last subscription when that ends (AFL one), or does it start immediately? Thank you

    • You get a code, add it to your Kayo account whenever you want.

  • Anyone sign up to Illawarra hawks able to confirm how they got the code? Signed up but got nothing about the code, I emailed them but they aren't back until the 30th, and there is a T&C's on the sign up page stating code has to be claimed by 31/12/24.

    • Have you code your code yet? I haven't got a response from them.

  • Got an email from GWS Giant's to renew at $310 for Kayo Basic. Anyone found a better offer?

    • I got no email no notice, and GWS auto renewed

Ticketmaster website also doesn’t have my CC details

What in the fraud is going on

    • Yeh seems we all were re-charged for $310 basic. I think you can send an email to [email protected] to cancel it, but it seems to be the best value for Basic considering the others are charging $350. They are dodgy af though, as no heads up email, and no option in your account to cancel, and they charged 3 weeks before the previous renewal date. Such shady dealings from a business tbh.

      • The thing that’s dodgy is that I deleted my credit card from the Ticketmaster website last year

So where the hell are they storing the information

  • I cancelled but got a renewall notice of auto rollover to occur on Feb 3, 2025. Bit dodgy. Will need to contact them.

It's only a Kayo One membership but just $240.
