    Some $20+ wines there,

All home-brand, I think. While they are probably good value when discounted, I suspect they determine an actual price for the own-brand wines, then double it for the RRP.

Yeah, it's a total scam. They're mostly just cheap cleanskins with a fancy looking label, jacked up to absurd RRPs and then heavily discounted to look like a deal, whilst still probably being more expensive than they actually deserve to be. You're honestly better off finding the decent wines at ALDI and sticking to those.

I've found them to be decent value at "half price", compared to the brand name wines sold with smaller nominal discounts.

Even the non-Colesworth wines are mostly owned by big conglomerates like Tresury, not family-owned wineries.

Gomersal Wines isn’t, which makes me think others aren’t as well?

        • I just sorted by high price, and did not recognise any of the $20+ ones.

The Gomersal appears to be a Coles-Group exclusive. So even if under contract, the price is set by Coles and nobody else.

      • correct, anything any $10 at aldi is guaranteed a good drop

    • They don't all appear to be home-brand to me.

    • To tell if it's a private label or exclusive liquor brand (ELB) as they call it, look at the pricing sticker in the shop and if it has a lowercase e inside a black diamond then it's one of their ELBs. Often on the back it will say it's made exclusively for James Busby wines. Even well known brands make an exclusive range such as Taylors, Jacobs Creek & McGuigan.

For their ELB range, Winton Road & James Busby are good quality. Their French bubbles are quite good too.

Site is getting hammered - all the wines in the deal show "loading cart". However thanks OP, the Bone Dry Rose is a good quaffer.

    • Good to know! I may try it one day.

  • I'll stock up white wine because I'm constantly cooking.

  • Savvy B’s cleaned out from my store and also anything nearby.

  • Thought the title said $10 for 90 wines! Something someone who's had a few glasses would see/think.
