I was looking for a decent android tablet for my son and found this one during Black Friday sale was selling for $129. Today the price dropped further if you apply $40 coupon bringing it down to 83.49. The review seems good except, the battery capacity seems not that great.

  Generic Android tablets are dangerous because the specs are often wrong. At least this isn't trying to advertise a Snapdragon 888 with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

  However it does have its faults. Mentions it has an A523 CPU and then a MediaTek G99 in another image. I guarantee you're getting the weaker Allwinner A523. I call bs on the 8GB RAM too. Given it's Android 14 it's going to be 4GB RAM + 4GB (if you're lucky) Nope it's 3GB RAM + 5GB of the onboard storage allocated as "RAM" which really does nothing. Swap basically.

  Expect the rest of it to line up with this AldiRRP crap

    @Clear Any current deals worth buying? Nothing I can see lists here that is any good. Looking for an Android for my son to play games and watch youtube etc. Battery is always a consideration. Doesn't need widevine but needs to be well built. Xmas present.

        I did see the 8.4" tablet, but I do need something bigger, around 10-11". It is getting close to Xmas, could you recommend one even if not on special?

  I have the alldocube iplay 50, and you get a great screen and decent specs for the price. You are getting it directly from their store, so it isn't a scam. Come to think of it, a 12.1 inch decently specced tablet for $100 is kinda good.
