      This is not one of those cheap items from Amart. The reviews are probably for low grade product which doesn’t really apply here.

        The comments are talking about Amart not honouring their warranty. Whether or not this item is good quality is irrelevant, things can go wrong.

        $1500 for one couch doesn't seem like a cheap item that you would expect to break apart.

    Are these designed to be exposed to the summer sun for 8+ hrs a day? How about rain? Will the cushions go mouldy?

      If I was spending a fortnight’s salary on this I’d probably want to get some kind of cover for it when not in use..

    Ugly as ***k. Typical Amart. That material will likely look mouldy in 6 months too.

    L-shaped lounges are better for outdoor areas. They not only look better, they're also more comfortable. You can put your legs up and read a book.

    Had extremely bad experience getting a brand new lounge set from Amart, first issue was the delivery teams they hire are like drug addicts, no care for customer house or property, basically run around, hit the walls and speak in filth while assembling the furniture.

    Secondly, the lounge we got had a pink mark on one of the hand rests, about 10cm by 10cm, so quite visible. I asked Amart to take it away right after delivery and they made that process most difficult ever by sending me through warranty services, taking days to assess the damaged item, 3 days later they offered to CLEAN IT! basically wasting 3 days. I had to go to the store and basically make a drama to get the lounge removed from my house (which I kept outside for unprofessionals who came to collect it a day later) and get a refund.

    Never again.

    i also had a very bad experience with Amart too on their buffet table
    Not only did i find the same model (flat packed ) for 1/3 of the sale price, they refused to honour warranty when the table top started to showing quality issues after only 2 weeks. of use, fading the colour. Their excuse was i left i the sun for too long when i closed the blinds every time the sun is out. Based on their logic i have to keep it in the basement with no lighting and usage.
    Customer service was terrible just passing the buck.
