  Thanks OP, was thinking of Go 3S
  But cant resist with the price

  While low light performance isnt great
  I will be mostly using in day time anyway
  (and also got DJI Pocket 3 with better low light scene)

        4K is cool, but losing the ability to select your aspect ratio in post is a bit of a killer for me.

  Thanks OP. Finally pulled th trigger after comparing the Go3 with the Go3S.

  Guess I'll not be getting the GoPro hero Action 2024.

      Most is the same except for the Go3 having:

      1. lack of 4K (only 2.7K)
      2. Better low light due to a better aperture.
      3. Dock housing/cradle is marginally smaller in dimensions
      4. actual pod unit is lighter
      5. 30 min less total recording time in the newer one
      6. Not being able to select your aspect ratio despite horizon autocorrect in new one

      eBay mate, search for the 3s 64g, and it's $659 at camerahouseaust, add code bf2420 and it drops to $527.20. Be quick though, only have just under two hours before the promo code expires.
