Was looking for a cheap renewal for Bitdefender for the home laptop and come across this one from Newegg, their site shows its out of stock if you select Australia but leave it as USA and with the discount code above the 2 year license comes down to USD$24.99 or AUD$42.72 when I checked out with Paypal.

You do need to input a US delivery address and phone number but given nothing is being physically delivered a generic address and phone number (such as (111) 111 1111) seemed to work fine.

The new code arrived via email in less than 5 minutes.

    Does this work fine with Australian bit defender central? can you stack with current membership to carry on once the current expires? or would you need start a new account?

        Providing they are the exact same product, then you can stack for a maximum of 5yrs. I stacked 2 x 1yr purchases from other recent deal and that's what I recall reading . You are given the option to stack to existing or begin new service when 2nd item adding.

    Can I use this product to also protect my phone? I tried entering the product code into the "activation code" area in Bitdefender app but I'm not sure if it's actually active or not ATM…

      i always seem to have issues activating and have to jump on the chat with them, unsure if it matters that this is from US or not in doing that though.

    When activating you need to VPN to US should have no problem. They just need the US IP

      I had no issues with activating this time or previously without a VPN. Given the auto renewal tries the charge me in Euro I assume the codes are global.

    These are scams nowadays, you don't need a separate security thing unless you want to slow down your computer

      You do need an extra security. It shouldn't slow down your computer unless the computer has a quite low spec that doesn't meet the min requirement of the software.

        Nope…I too paid with Paypal. Perhaps that's why? Tempted to cancel and order payment using Card. Maybe that'll be fast.
