Cyber Monday off Is a Win before Spending a Cent!

So, I just jumped on to my Launtel account to pause service and was shown this page.

That's 100% referral generation!
It would appear my referral code went viral (as far as referal codes go anyway) somewhere at some point in the past… Dating back just over 8wks ago, and then ramped up again over the next four weeks then went into decline. I've actually had nothing in the last 2wks (which makes sense with sales on).

I'd be upwards of 220 referrals connected and it looks like there might be another 20 odd that activated the code but have yet to, or never did fulfil their end of the deal.

I'm absolutely stunned to be honest… It's not like I actively campaigned to spread it across the internet with AdWords!

      They've only ever really made me cents until that spurt, with the exception of PowerShop, which is unusually high for a referral and I average about 2-3/yr which is a handy chunk that smooths out the winter electricity bill so I'm definitely not complaining. They're the only two referal stories I have though, so I don't know whether I've been lucky, unlucky or what!

    Wow how did you manage that? I have my referral code in the system and my last referral payment was in May 2024 and the previous one was 2 years before that. In total I've done over $500 of referrals, but most were in the early days.

      As I said, it didn't originate thanks to my loyal clan of 200 ozbargainers who move around using my codes 😂.

      I must have dropped it in a public forum of some sort, one that saw a few weeks of heavy user traffic. Or maybe it also coincided with a rate hike in one of the states so alot of users were shifting at that time… It was around the time of the first Cost of Living handout - made people reevaluate their providers.

      I'm fishing here, I hAve absolutely no idea.

    I managed to pay for about 18 months of internet for my sis, mum and I from just putting referral codes on my blog site.
    Was good while it lasted
