Looks like 2K games are having a sale on their iOS apps as well.. I guess everyone's trying to get their Apps higher in the charts for the iTunes freeze that occurs over Christmas, to get more Christmas shoppers seeing their products.
All three were previously $5 plus.
I haven't played it much for a couple of years but I think it's well worth $1 if you're a Civ fan. From my research it's basically a port of the Nintendo DS game. In terms of gameplay value I've probably pumped 80+ hours into this game.
As ndenham says, it's a full port of the DS version and, at that, a simpler game than the PC equivalent. Nonetheless, Civ is Civ so, if you like Civ, you need this.
Borderland good?
Pirates plays very well compared with pc. I found CivRev to be nothing compared to pc though.
