Cardo Packtalk Pro is also on sale, although about $100 more than the Edge model
This new one was released recently, that comes with the larger 45mm speakers.

    • Im also torn between both. They say to be aware of fitment for the 45mm speakers. Also is it worth the upgrade. Most reviews say not much diff. However if the 45mm speakers fit then it maybe the selling point to get the pro over the edge

      • Yeah the speakers are hit or miss for some, but I reckon it comes down to your helmet model and speaker placement. I got an old helmet with an Edge with the 45mm speakers, and I do notice a difference in sound quality compared to the stock speakers. Your not getting audiophile level sound, but there a touch more bass when listening to music.

Whether its worth it is up to you, but if you were planning to buy the Edge + speaker upgrade, it comes to the same price as the Pro anyway… at the current sale price, that is

        • Also few good reviews say the battery usage is alot more do to the added safety features. If u have the edge and even better with edge + 45mm jbl. Then stick with that. Not worth the upgrade.

Im still on the cardo bold when it was around 500 for the duo. However i did find in the mesh mode that the music isnt as loud as when in solo mode. Cant find any info how to fix. However they do say the edge is 30% louder then the bold. So for me im half between egde and reduce cost or go for the pro as most my rides are short so battery issue isnt too much of a concern

@Skitzout: Yep, tough choice for me too. Even on sale, its a chunk of change
I still can't believe there isn't more competition in this space. I wouldn't recommend Sena, which only leaves Cardo. With only minutes left on Black Friday sales, I'm still undecided. lol
