just be aware, the rate drops to mid 3% after 4 months. So make sure to be ready to switch to their savings account (this is HIS A) or switch to Ubank etc

    • +1

When you switch, do you just zero out the account, and/or do you have to call Rabobank for that?

      • +1

You can transfer the entire account to your linked external account with another bank.

    • 4.35%, same to rba cash rate target, it make sense. but won't prefer it if I can get 5.5%

  • Their Premium Saver is great too! Have both but no honeymoon rate on HISA andmore
Very easy to bank with Much better friendlier and non-nasty unlike CommBank

    • Can you have both HISA and PSA?

  • What is the deposit limit for this rate. It's not specified except for their standard deposit system.

    • +1

It's pretty clearly specified as $250k

      • Oops. So it is. Thanks.
Will have to cash in more crypto.

@glyptothek: I think your rant is misplaced on this thread, maybe start your own discussion thread about the subject you are interested in.
Not sure this is a Rabo back issue and certainly isn’t pertinent to this particular offer.

  • What constitute a new customer?

    • I’d like to know this myself, I opened an account early last year for their 4 month offer and then closed the account after it finished.
Shame really, I would’ve happily stayed with them if the rate continued, I wonder what % of customers forget to move their money when the 5th month starts out decide to stay on one of their lower rate savings accounts?
Must be a decent amount or I imagine they would’ve stopped these offers.

  • Did anybody get the Rabobank interest for November credited to their account?
Are they delaying it because end of month/start of month falls on a weekend?

    • +1

No probs credited yesterday with bonus

      • Is yours an old account or relatively new?

        • +1

about 9/12 old for premium saver about 1.4 yrs old for HISA

          • @glyptothek: That may be the reason. Mine is only 3 months old and no interest credited. I know someone else that has an old account (years) and their interest was also paid yesterday.
I may have to ring them tomorrow.

            • @Mad Max:

Mine is only 3 months old and no interest credited.

My account was only opened in October and I got my interest credited to the account early this morning.

              • @Nousernamehere: Yeah, nothing on mine, and now the app says "technical error, try again later".
I will have to ring them tomorrow morning.

    • +1

I have the premium and the money was showing yesterday or Friday (with date of 1/12), but my Bankwest one isn't, they credit that on the first business day of the month, so will be tomorrow and the same next month as 1st is a public holiday
