Found these LIFX Beams for half price for Black Friday sale, and I haven't seen any deals on these for ages.
These are somewhat addressable - you can "paint" on the beams in the app or use some built-in effects.
Please note the expiration date is a guess as I couldn't find one explicitly mentioned so I assume the deal goes until end of Cyber Monday.
During the sale you can also pick up 4 free LIFX Whites with any order at least $100 and they are also offering free shipping with orders at least $100.
The LIFX lights are wi-fi so no hub needed and also have well-documented local control so they work very quickly with Home Assistant.

What are the "whites" that you speak about ?
Sorry I couldnt find it :/
They are smart bulbs that only do dimmable white - no colour. You just add enough products to cart that puts the cart at $100 and they show up on the cart list but you do have to then add them to your cart from the cart list if you know what I mean.
It's these: https://cleverhouseonline.com.au/products/lifx-whiteThose LIFX Whites are only worth $5-$10 each. Same place was flogging them off for $9 around 1-year ago.
Def. not worth $120 as a bonus.
For $125 its an interesting smart lighting package (and the bulbs are a throw-in) but LIFX has many issues.Mainline lifx bulbs have been good for me, even better when I started running off home assistant. I have tried Hue and Nanoleaf (I still run some nanoleaf) comparisons, previously Hue and LIFX had the better LEDs in terms of colour rendering and maybe placement. More a choice of wether you wanted to run off the hue bridge. I suspect over time the leds are going to become quite similar, and if matter develops there may not be much benefit to Hue / LIFX but we'll see.
I purchased this to play around with, although I agree I only value the whites at less than $20 total.
To be honest I did not even add the whites, I just don't need them. I was just wanted some Beams.
The OG model had issues with wifi stability but ever since then I've never had any trouble except when ubiquiti botched firmware for my APs.
I had a bad experience with LIFX. I had their wall tiles, before they discontinued them. They started giving me problems after 6 months. Randomly turning off and on. Multiple tiles died within 18 months.
I might have got a lemon. Or the products may have improved. But I am going to stay away from LIFX.
Why didn’t you return them when they started having problems?
I purchased the lights when they end of lifed them and were selling them out with only a 3 month warranty.
Doesn’t that breach ACL?
I only got 1 E27 bulb, did you all get 4 or just 1?
It looks like the Home Assistant integration is quite mature and feature rich! I’ll keep LIFX in mind for future purchases.
