Seems like a decent price, 15% cash rewards brings it down even further, can customise to add more ram and upgraded graphics.

  So. If you do not mind spending a hundred dollars more, $699 (free delivery to metro) gets you a MSI Modern 14 with a 13th Gen i5-1335U and 16GB of RAM, with a 14inch "IPS Level" display.

  It's a smaller laptop but the battery is rated at 46.8 Whrs versus 41 Wh. This will be suitable for kids laptop. Weight 1,5kg vs 1.65

  The cashback on the Dell (assuming it tracks for you with no issue) does make it closer to around $540 though.
