There a lots of times that I search price on individual Parks’s own website instead of on big4 (same park) and on its own website it’s cheaper than on big4 (factored in the membership discount) so do check even if you have membership.

I've found the same sometimes. If you call, they can offer you an even better price that's not on their own website. But sometimes the Big4 price is the same. Depends on the park.

It seems to me like 2 years lasts exactly 2 years.
Well, if you sign up today, it's probably too late to book anything good for Christmas 2024 this year. You could book for Christmas 2025. For Christmas 2026, even though you'd be booking when your membership is still valid, your membership will have expired by Christmas 2026 (even if you book it today).
So you effectively get 2 years membership minus [however long before your holiday you book it].
Edit: I now see the ambiguity in my first post. "we couldn't book past the membership expiry date" doesn't mean I was logging on to the site after expiry. It means I logged into the site within expiry, trying to make a booking for a holiday after the expiry date.

If you try and get a membership whilt signed in (already with a member ship), you get this message:
"Your membership is still valid for the next 12 months so you cannot renew at this time"
So i suppose they are expecting you to renew within 12 months of wanting to stay somewhere

Update. Just tried it and received a message stating our membership was valid for the next 12 months so couldn’t renew. If you have 12 months or less left on yours this might work.

Different parks, I guess. NRMA, BIG4, G'DAY (Discovery Parks), depends on where you going to.
Checking for a villa at Sandstone Point, some days/weeks require 2 nights stay while some require 4, and the prices are varied. The cost is around $450-$550 per night and more per adding people (before applying the perk discount). Is it considered good price? The location and environment look nice.
Quite frustrating as the website doesn't show all the prices so I can compare and I need to one by one.
Also, trying to stack with the holiday deal i.e. 5 nights 35% disount but no direct way to check.

I've had this for a few years now. If you stay at a park for 4 nights ( or so ) over the 2 years, you are saving more than the membership cost in my experience. Worth it for us as we are usually 6 or 7 nights per year.

Yes, you must have less than 12 months remaining on your current membership to take advantage of this deal. In my case, I just snuck in by 2 days because my membership was due to expire 30 Nov next year.
Note that the deal discount doesn't get applied to your "cart" until about page 4 of the checkout process. That's when the field appears to let you type in the code and apply the discount. Double check that you're entering the code as MEGAMEMBER24 (all capitals).
