Cheapest price even cheaper than Bellroy sale of 30% off at $265
Plus free returns if not for you.
I never had a "designer" back pack before so going to see if it's worth the money.

Any recommendations? I was gonna buy this.
I like Osprey and Mystery Ranch better
5.11 have some really nice ones too
20%-22% extra discount on their eBay.
@stickymoo: yep, saw that just after I posted this!
@AFM7: Good price, cool bag!
Do you have the 31?
I have the prvke 11 & the rogue. The 31 is tempting..
@stickymoo: No I don't, I'm in the peak design ecosystem ha. I was debating getting this at the time last year but it was way to expensive. How do you like the 11?
@AFM7: It is nice and compact. It sits in between a sling or a small shoulder bag like a thinktank retrospective 4, and bigger 20L+ backpacks. Depending on how much gear I need to take.. I prefer under 20L if I can get away with it..
I like that PD have good warranty and after sale support. It reminds me of Patagonia with their Ironclad Guarantee. Patagonia have designed their new bags so each panel can be repaired and replaced which is cool.
The quest for the perfect bag continues!
if your budget can stretch further, I like Black Ember Citadel. Thule Paramount range are nice too.
Another aussie brand, alpaka have some nice backpacks too
I agree. At this price point so many better options like Osprey
Completely different designs, market audience and practicality.
Bellroy is very urban while osprey is more rugged
When I used to work in an office, people always use to say something along the lines of, "Oh where are you hiking after work?"
I generally don't care what people think but the same lame joke gets very tiring. I used to use a Deuter bag.
@ozbs25: If I commuted for work I absolutely would be using my osprey porter 30 lol
@ozbs25: osprey have the arcane series, very far removed from their traditional technical packs
@GUYANDSON: It doesn't look too bad at all. Thanks! If I go back into the office I have a Thule bag that I want to try out.
I have so much Bellroy stuff like backpacks, totes, pouches, tech kit, laptop sleeve etc and they are all great quality. They are functional the bags have lots of pockets and don’t have a single tear in them.
Would recommend especially during Black Friday or at 30% off.
I think that’s part of it for me. Bellroy is more city/casual corporate with Osprey more outdoor/hiker. I like somewhere in the middle, more technical like Peak Design, Aer, Matador, or Patagonia/North Face
We've liked the Bellroy gear that we have bought in the past but we've never bought a backpack. We have a Market Tote and one of their slings.
Well for me they are not just good quality but functional. I got my backpack like 5-6 years ago and not a single tear, bad zipper or issue, it is a well made design where every pocket and feature feels well thought out.
Little clip for the keys in a pocket you're likely to put them in, hidden Pocket, padded in the right areas, water proof laptop zip, not overly full of zips/straps with 16 useless pockets like some high end bags. It's simple yet functional. Zips feel good quality and never stuck or damaged. That's my experience at least. I've had cheap Kmart bags, expensive Osprey bags, some random cheap-mid range bags, and my Bellroy is my favourite and my everyday backpack.
Note: The bag I use I'm referring to isn't this specific backpack, but just another Bellroy backpack.
Well designed, good materials and more professional looking than something like Osprey, Deuter etc.
its good and well designed for practicality.
usually comes down to preferences at the end of the day but I buy it because its the closest to what I want in a bad or accessory that others do not even come close to
also theres a sustainability element which is why i pay the premium because theres a bit of a cause to it despite its price
I've got a lot of their stuff - wallet, backpack, tote bag, pouch and sling. All of it still going strong. I do agree that it's expensive for what it is, but I just like how it looks and it has the features I'm looking for. I'd say majority of people would be be better off with something cheaper.
I like bellroy for their look, but I have 1 issue with their backpacks and it's their shoulder strap that tapers too early that they aren't the most comfortable. I have 3 bellroy backpacks and hardly use them because of this. Black Ember been my go to as they're just so much more comfortable.
For this price it should really be a lifetime warranty.
Not lifetime, but 6 years I think is decent. https://bellroy.com/customer-care/warranty
The link seems to mention 3 years
Bags are 6 years, the rest are 3
Recently picked up the Northface Borealis and really like it. Took it as a carry on on a recent flight to Japan and used it as a day pack.
I don’t know why, but I just can’t see the hype with Bellroy gear compared to other similarly priced brands
