The game is being delisted on December 15 (support.forzamotorsport.net). I'm not sure of the precise timing. Will probably vary depending on your timezone.

Q: When is Forza Horizon 4 being delisted?

Starting June 25, 2024; Forza Horizon 4’s DLC will be delisted from platforms, meaning that only Forza Horizon 4 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate versions will be available for purchase from this day until delisting happens.

On December 15, Forza Horizon 4 will be delisted from stores and Xbox Game Pass. This includes the Forza Horizon 4 Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate versions. This means the game and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase

      Because if you buy it before it get's delisted, you can download it and play it on PC or XBOX when ever you want.

      Delisted means it will no longer be purchasable after the delisting date. But it will remain in your library/account for you to download and install any time you would like even after the delisting date. Whether or not the game is still downloadable well into the future remains to be seen.

          Players who already own Forza Horizon 1 and/or Forza Horizon 2 can continue to download and access the single-player portions of these games even after the online services close on August 22, 2023.

          expect single player portion to be available as long as steam, microsoft store remain as platforms

          multiplayer i expect to continue for at least 3-4 more years, apparently forza horizon 3 online features are okay on xbox but somewhat limited on PC but with xbox's new forward compatibility team if not fh4 i'd expect future titles to offer better longevity across the board

          Game servers are still up. There are less people playing the game nowadays. Forza online events are still playable, but not as easy as they used to when there were lots of people playing.

          Festival Playlist ended August 2024. Some seasonal events are still available (use the map and filter). Daily and weekly challenges are still there. Season changes still happen every week.

    It's cheaper on cdkeys, though it activates on microsoft store (Xbox/PC) rather than steam.

    Anyone with a Moza wheel, take note - Steam version of FH4 is not supported, just the MS one.

      Bollocks, that's the exact wheel I've just ordered after grabbing FH4 on steam a few months back. No possible workarounds? All I see is this doc from Moza https://support.mozaracing.com/en/support/solutions/articles… (OTOH, is wheel driving in FH4 even any good?)

        If you notice in section 2 Support List, they leave out the Steam version of FH4 in all three categories type. I have tried to "acquire" a copy of the windows/ms store version and the wheel didnt show up there either. Will see how MS's refund policy is and just might try it there. FH4 is way more fun than FH5. Also sadly no way to transfer saves from the Steam version to the MS version.

        I tried FH5 with the wheel and …. its okay - I dont think my opinion counts tho, as its my first wheel. Found it annoying that the ingame car wheel didnt move in sync with the wheel the animation is limited is what ive found.

        Still tinkering around.

        Kinda sad NFS isnt supported (I understand, its the whole arcade vs sim argument), but I dont think the Logitech wheels have this issue.

        NFS Unbound is on sale for ~$7, wouldve loved to try it with the wheel.

    27 hours before this game is gone from stores.

    Bought the ultimate edition last sale but Game Pass saves don't transfer over unfortunately.
