Similar to the VS01, the VS05 is a compact sealer with cutter but no roll storage that adds Pulse mode and has some more options for the vacuum strength for liquids and moist food.

It would be helpful if Inkbird provided consistent specifications across the models but since they don't I'll refer this comment for comparison.

    The specs on the VS01 are a bit lacking to compare against, but for me having pulse on the VS05 makes all the difference.

    It looks like it has slightly higher suction though at -80kPa vs -70kPa of the VS05
