  • is this has wear detection auto pause?
    also multipoint connection?

    • Post says 'Multi device connection'

    • yes it has wear detection sensor.

but I always turn it off because I find it annoying and the sensor also has a higher chance of becoming faulty in all headphones compared to everything else and I don’t want it to be stuck to “on” if it is faulty and not working properly.

it is Sony though so you can expect it to work properly for years I have barely heard any complaints about it, it’s just known to be the first part to be faulty in all headphones.

also for a Sony I have some issues with quality on mine, seems to be Sony is cost cutting recently.

sound after perfecting EQ and ANC works well. but after pausing the sound there is a quiet high pitch squeak in the right ear for 2 seconds, it’s like the sound of the power you can hear it cut off quickly but weird. at first it was a very quiet pop like power cutting off, after a few months I thought it would fix itself but now it’s just a quiet squeak.
you can’t hear the noise when listening to audio.

2nd issue is the fake leather earpads, comfy yes and block out a lot of sound even with ANC off yes, but one negative review said their earpads started peeling within months.

I thought I am probably a less greasy person so it wouldn’t be that bad. but after maybe 6 months? now I can get what that review is saying. I notice on the left earpads if I run my finger over the surface that touches your skin it’s a become slightly rough. I shined my phone torch at it and can see it’s starting to get tiny cracks. I think maybe 1.5~2 years after purchase it may start cracking even if you are not a greasy person.
these things were a bit disappointing for me if it’s a Sony. I paid about $30 more than this deal.

  • Does it have mic and low latency for gaming?

    • no low latency mode. if you need low latency get something from razer that has it.

I have the Sony connected to iPad and there no latency for video. But for gaming you 💯% need low latency.
