Depends how much do you do photography. In my younger years, I got 10D as I had taken few thousands pictures each week. Now, when I hardly clock up few thousands a year, I am quite happy with the 650. Most of the time for the higher models you pay for things like better built quality, MUCH better ergonomic, VERY FEW enhancements. If you are not a professional (i.e. having photography as your business) and not too excited amateur (taking hundreds of pictures every single week) then this camera is quite OK.
I wrote it here before, I was able to bargain $978 (so $878 after cashback, beating $979 phone quote which I was able to get to 979 on paar with kogan) at JB and they run promotion with free 3yr Canon care pack.damn. the 2 jbhifi i went to wouldnt budge, saying they couldnt discount because of the cashback
same thing happened to me, wouldn't budge at castle hill
lol yeah thats one of the stores i went to
Jb will do them for a grand but no 3yr warranty.
jb currently have it at $1098 with $100 cash back and extra 2 year canon warranty. so its basically an extra $100 for 2 years warranty
Lense is 299 on kogan. Body is 519. Delivery is 30. Total is 850
The $299 lense on kogan is a different lense, it's not the STM version.
I want 6D. But I guess 650D is fine. Especially for that price.
