UPDATE: with the end of the Steam Autumn Sale 2024 event, the bundle's price has increased from A$42.84 (44% discount) to A$49.98 (35% discount). Deal post title has been updated accordingly.

SEGA Classics Delisting December 6th (Steam news update, November 6, 2024)

Greetings, SEGA fans!

We've got some news to share regarding our Classics bundles. As of December 6th, 2024 we'll be saying farewell to new purchases of the SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics & Dreamcast Classics. Both of these great bundles and select individual games will be delisted on Steam December 6th.

No worries if you already own a game or bundle. These gems will still live in your Steam library. You can download and play SEGA Classics games whenever you want, as long as you own them before December 6th.

    Do people really buy this when all these emulators and roms are available ? I’d rather spend this money on a newer gen game or buy an anbernic handheld to emulate these games

      Well Crazy Taxi has over 2,000 reviews so looks like the answer is "yes"

      I guess you can spend your money on whatever you want.

        I paid like a dollar for crazy taxi years and years ago. For the convenience of clicking install and being in game in 2 minutes, it was worth the price

          I paid $119 for Crazy Taxi when the Dreamcast launched in 1999.

          Fun fact, $119 with 25 years inflation is $225 today!

    Trickstyle is currently 50% off on GoG. I never owned a Dreamcast but pretty sure this was a game that was on that console, that I really enjoyed on PC.

    This prompted me to see if Daytona was on Steam (it’s not). But Hotshot Racing is $5.79 and that seems like a bit of a deal.

    Was tempted to buy this for crazy taxi since they refused to put it on sale ( had nights and bass fishing for free from a while back so it was 28) and then tempted to buy sonic 1 and or 2 for five a piece and see how that affects the price, despite owning them all elsewhere anyway,

    But fortunately I clicked the trailer and remembered they changed the soundtracks out on this and the ps360 versions. Not the worst new soundtrack by any stretch, I like a lot of songs (shout out to orange Wednesday in particular) but no real interest now. So used to the android version and emulated originals I forgot all about that soundtrack
