Credit Card Balance Transfer - Police Bank Doesn't Accept BPAY

Hi OzBargainers, I recently got a new St George Credit Card with balance transfer (BT) capability.

While I was in the process of doing a BT, St George required BPAY account details of the existing CC provider to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, my existing CC provider (Police Bank) doesn't accept BPAY as a payment. Consequently, I'm unable to complete the BT, which was the primary purpose of the new CC.

I wanted to see if you have ever had a similar experience. Obviously, now I'm stranded with a brand new CC against my name and can't go to a different financial provider for BT. And before you ask - there weren't any disclaimers excluding any Australian financial institution when I was applying for the new CC.

Thanks

They just might have to cop it.

How do you pay the monthly statement?

    ## Your current credit card issuer must accept BPAY payments to be eligible
