It has exploded in price in recent years. So much so we've switched to Sodastream for 50 cents a litre..
Are soda streams good, i remember getting it years ago and it tasted bad when we made it
You have to remember that water quality is not the same as where Pepsi is bottled so it will taste different. But the rate at which we drink pepsi max, it is unaffordable..
@Vladdo: I don't drink pepsi but was just curious if soda stream still tastes bad or not.
If it doesnt taste bad, might give it another shot
@michael9865: I have sodastream (with kegland bottle for economy). It's great. Straight soda water, or with a touch of cordial.
The Woolworths $3 lemon cordial is great.
I make it 'light' on the cordial concentration, much healthier than cans of soft drink
@dangerdanger: Just use sugar free cordial
@belongsinforums: I hate the taste of artificial sweeteners
@dangerdanger: More than you love your teeth?
@belongsinforums: The amount of cordial I put in the drink is much less than the sugar in Pepsi / coke etc. And my dentist says my teeth are 10/10. Keep brushing 👍🏼
@michael9865: It doesn't taste bad.. it just tastes different.
Also fizziness levels can't compete with bottled/canned drinks as you just can't get the same amount of pressure..
We would never go back to bottles/cans..
@Vladdo: Agree. No more cans or bottles for recycling / landfill. No more lugging bottles from the supermarket. Better for my teeth and health etc etc
@michael9865: I only use the generic supermarket 10L mineral water with mine. Tastes great without any flavourings.
good price but the problem is you are drinking pepsi max
I swear it wasn't that long ago that was the usual price. I'm getting old I guess.
