they only created this machine because they failed to monopolise on the original nespresso machine.
if you want a pod machine, just get the original nespresso and have a huge variety of pods available to you. also you can get reusable pods.
pods are convenient, but i prefer freshly roasted whole beans from a local vendor and grind it moments before brewing. it is the absolute best coffee ever.
The vertuo pods make much better coffee than the original but the machine build quality is horrible. I went through 3 machines that all had problems before giving up and getting a Breville manual machine set up. Havent looked back!

Vertuo sucks. Just get the regular one. Coffee is much better, much cheaper, with much more choice both 3rd party and 1st party.
