  • That's the first time I've heard "IPS Black Technology"

    • It’s an LG technology that has languished a bit as manufacturers go Mini LED and OLED instead I would guess.
But it means an IPS screen is brighter, with crisper blacks. Anyway, seems Dell seems the main taker of the technology.

  • I have this, it’s a great 4K display for work purposes, particularly anyone looking for imagery work at a cheaper price compared with 5K and 6K solutions.
Apart from the colour calibration, it also has one of the most extensive USB docks of any display and good KVM setup.

This would have to be ATL, unless anyone knows different? Must not buy another, must not buy another.

    Not a gaming display.

  • I think I paid ~$620 for mine a few months ago.

    Brilliant monitor. Definitely recommended.

    great first post 🫡

  • Would a recent model i5 laptop be able to drive two of these, or need high performance laptop?

  • Does anyone know how this compares to the 34" ViewFinity S65TC Thunderbolt™ 4 WQHD Monitor…(besides the screen size of course !)…selling for $548 at Bing Lee…https://www.binglee.com.au/products/34-viewfinity-s65tc-ultra-wide-curved-wqhd-monitor-ls34c650taexxy.

Anyone know which would be better..especially for a Mac Mini M4 ?

    Thanks

  • I just bought a G3223Q 32 4k and it’s huge. Bit of eye strain and headaches this week. Coming from a 34 1440p it’s a little hard adjusting. 4K 27 was considered.

Anyone running 4K on 27 that can comment on scaling and realestate?

  • Would this be good for an occasional spot of ps5 gaming and movie watching on top of home office work?
