We're looking to buy a washer dryer with Appliances Online. What's the way to get the best price apart from chatting to the person? E.g. cashbacks, gift cards, etc.

Yep.. op needs to do their research and find a better price and get them to price match. Although I will say that even if they won’t price match, I would go to them even if they were a bit more expensive as they do everything (install, take away old appliance and dispose rubbish)

Only great with price match, usually compare with Appliance Central and E&S. Also compare with eBay prices plus coupons if any
Sometimes they offer the best price but rarely.
If not, get them to price match. But as they offer free delivery, it ends up cheaper.
Their delivery is fantastic, can request specify am or pm delivery and also weekend.
Check their ebay store, they're usually around the same price as their website, but then if there is an ebay sale/deal going on, then it become cheaper than anywhere else.
Depends on how soon you want it though, It wasn't urgent for me, it took about 6 months to a year before the stars aligned where I was able to stack an AO sale price with an ebay XX% off deal.
Had a good deal out of them not long after they started selling. Ever since, they've been more expensive than other major retailers for the things I researched. I may have had poor timing, but after a lot of fails, I stopped looking.
I have never got a better deal at appliances online unless its a price match
Didn't matter the value either, they are pretty rigid on prices……from my experience
I like using them so I am keen to hear if other people have had successes
